As we were going up, the hotel guys must have seen us so when we were coming back, there were 2-3 guys stopped our vehicle and were trying to persuade us to take their hotel.

Since it was getting darker and colder, we decided to get whatever was available. We stopped at last hotel on MJ Road (first if coming from top) and done it. The rent was nominal 500 per room. We took 2 rooms with a double bed each. The best thing about this hotel was ample charging points available. In Bahrain, there was only charging point in whole room and it was almost race while capturing it. So we got time to charge each and every gadget we had.

After getting comfortable, it was almost dark. We ate some fried and salted cashews.. Couldn't get any better than that in cold

Jab tak mere pas p&s tha main 5 extra batteries rakhta tha, kabhi charge ki zaroorat nahi parti thi magur ab iski battery bohat mehengi hai is lye charge karna parta hai B-)

Can you tell em about the road conditions of SWAT. Is it good to travel? I heard its not very good. I want to travel next week with 15 people. Also as the army operation started in KPK, should we risk taking such big tour at this time?

Road is ok till Bahrain. Just the last stretch of about 10 km before Bahrain is under construction (might be completed by now).

And army operation wasn't started in KPK. In my opinion Swat is still the safest place to visit.

But something comes to my mind by watching this thread
1. u didn't like daal sabzi at all
2. u didn't like mlai on chaaye
3. u didn't like goat or sheep meat
4. u r shy to take pics of a model but u take several pics of a local girl and post it in the intro too

i nee to ask u about road condition from Bahrain to Kalam? is honda 98 is able to reach kalam with out any damage??

"Had a little chit chat with fellow passengers. Although I know and can speak Punjabi very well but I still feel comfortable talking in Urdu. Most would recognize me in a second (due to accent) and ask, "Bhai aap karachi se ho" and then the next question is.. Bahrain to Kalam is not good at all. It will be like destroying your car. You might save some in fuel but you will lose in terms of wear and tear. So better get a taxi from Bahrain.
