20 Feb 2018, Maintenance Update: Since May 2016
Sorry for being away, got busy with other commitments and I hated this new forums layout.
- Got Front Brake Pads changed in Feb 2017, PKDM and this JDM Shape model pads are same. I don't remember the price now but I think they were for around 3500.
- Check engine light appeared in August 2017, got it checked from scanner and it turned out to be CAT error code. I went to bilal gunj and got k12b manifold(CAT Inside) along with 2 Sensors on it for 8K and problem was solved.
- Shocks of this shape is different from previous gen but luckily i got hold of Swift Sports Shocks from Bilal Gunj(make sure you take original ones as sample) for 15K. Current shocks were fine but I wanted more smoother ride.
- Got whole front suspension bushes changed including new Steering rack bushes. Total bill was around 20k including labor and alignment, all bushes were easily available from Walton Road Spare parts shop.
- AC Pipe had a leak and it was leaking gas, got that changed with new refill - 5K
- Timely oil changes - Liqui Moly 5w-40
- Changed wheels from 16 Inch to 15Inch(195 55), got a good used wheels deal for about 35k
All above work was done in span of 1.5 years.
Finding Airfilter of this engine is not a problem anymore. Suzuki CIAZ filter from local suzuki authorized workshop is a perfect fit. Ciaz is offered with K14B engine which is similar to K12B.
