don't forgot faw v2 have every single performance parts of vitz and cosmetic part not a problem you can get even a custom body kit made second we don't really have toyota japan/honda japan in pak all we have is AHL/IMC sharing my experience we bought new xli in 2010 at after 20 km on odo I had to call my friend to help me toe the car to nearest 3s becoz first gear was not engaging second the car was getting heat up and 3s ppl were like "sir engine naya hai abi garm hoga" I was like it will heat up but not up to h mark right I have to screw the management to get it inspected and a fuse in fuse box was fluctuating and after seeing this review I would never buy a IMC car for sure
11th Gen Corolla:
When I drove it for the first time, I thought I am driving my old 10th Gen Gli except that the smell was of new car. The drive, sound, comfort is just like the previous model. Felt no difference at all.
The shape is where they have put all the efforts but just look at it from a side and you would want to fit your head in the rear tyre-fender gap. Just looks pathetic.
Now coming to main thing; quality...
As expected, Toyota has done it again. Just 5 days out of the showroom and m car had a metallic "tak" sound from the front right side of the suspension. Got it checked and found out some part broke that is connected to the right shock. Well, it was a shock in itself. Got it repaired.
A few days back, the car was hit due to ABS malfunction. Younger brother was driving at 100-110 kmph on Kashmir highway and just when he pressed the brake the paddle didn't return. Front right wheel got jammed; yes jammed and the car skidded towards the green belt. there was a huge tyre mark of the right wheel only on the road and on the green belt. As far as I know, ABS prevents from locking the wheels but the wheel was locked so bad that it was dug in the greenbelt taking the grass with it and leaving a 1 tyre mark on it.
Coming to the paint quality. Thinnest possible layer that would go off with a couple of detailing sessions.
Mohtaram @aghazi Sahib,
That's exactly what I've been writing about again and again. The quality of locally assembled cars, particularly from IMC (Indus Motor Company) and Pak Suzuki. Honda has a better quality but still not at par with international standards. The government should take a note of it and force these substandard car assemblers to close their business and allow better quality cars to be imported from Toyota Thailand. Toyota Australia is closing in 2017 and will import cars from Thailand. Pakistan can do the same. This will allow the end-user to have better quality. I don't know when our end-user will teach IMC its lesson. I went to a Toyota dealership in Islamabad to inspect their new 11th generation Corolla and dressed the management down. My focus was on the pathetic quality of the car. Now whenever I go there, I scare the pants off of everyone. They see me and the management vanishes. Whenever I get the chance I give them a good dressing-down. They deserve it. The very first day the 11th generation Corolla was launched, I went to the management and told them that I wanted a new car very badly and after going over the car with a detailed walk-around, I had come to the conclusion that their 11th generation Corolla was a big-time piece of garbage and that I would never waste a single rupee on it let alone a humungous amount of 2.3 million.
In to gari nahi bananee atee, nahi atee, nahi atee, nahi atee, nahi atee aur jo in kay kartoot hain, in ko gari bananee kabhi nahin ayee gee. Yay lotairay hain aur pichlay kai saloon say sarfeen ko loot rahay hain. I won't pay them a single rupee for any of their cars because I don't have illicit money, mairay pass haraam ka paisa nahin. I won't even accept their car for free because I don't like driving garbage.
We should raise our voice for a change in our government's auto policy. We should ask the government to allow the import of quality cars from abroad so that the end-users get to drive good cars. We are not animals but humans and want value for our money. Local car assemblers, wrongly called as manufacturers are churning out garbage. Just say no to them.
No offence please and regards.
so the story goes like thisâŚ
Grande Bronze Mica - Booked on Aug 17 - Toyota Township
PBO - Nov
Got call yesterday to get delivery on Friday
Went to get delivery - got back empty handed!
Car was being washed. After washing they parked the car in one of their area which was under low lightâŚ.only few tubes lights. My uncle and elder son was with me and I asked them to check the car specially body and looks for any scratches. During the final stages of documentation, I decided to check the car myself on parallel to save some time. I excused the gentleman who was working on documentation and went to check it. My uncle and son said that itâs absolutely scratchless. Awesome!
Car was looking stunning I must say. I turned on led on my phone and decided to give a round myself. All was looking good until I reached passenger side fender, 5 white dots at random places. What the hell, must be some imperfection while painting which will go away with compound. When I touched the surface on dots, it was smooth. The dots were inside paint. I instantly knew that these will not go away whatever they do. After this I found 8-10 more dots on same side, doors, pillars and top. I also found light scratches and one brushed painted scratch on driver side.
- I told them to stop the documentation immediately. At no cost, I will accept it
- They asked me to give them 30 mins to fix this. I said ok. I knew they wonât be able to fix it though.
- They compound the affected parts, as expected this made dots a bit bigger!
- They polished it, even used zero sand paper. Utterly useless!
- Then they took photos and said that they will contact IMC. They took me to warranty department.
- I told them, why warranty? That car is not mine. I did not accept it so there is no question of warranty. They understood what I was walking about and accepted my stance.
- I told them that I can give them only few days to replace it or fix it fully. I know they can not fix it. Door and fender can be replaced but not pillars and top.
- If not, them I want my money back with 3.5 months of interest on that.
- Now they will contact IMC and will resolve this.
Some observations, during this ordeal, no one from manager to lower staff tried to force me to accept the car except that warranty trick. They were cordial and said they If I donât accept it then be it is.
Lesson: Check the car thoroughly, try to get it in day light. Check if with flash light if under dark.

My cousin came to our home at iftaari, he just came back from toyota dealership.
He said car really looks awesome from front, simply mind blowing when you see it in real life, back is okayish but that height kills the looks. Even he said the same thing about the tail lights not aligned properly plus interior quality was pretty bad, the stitching on the leather seats was not okay, steering seemed dull plus the sunroof area was looking pretty cheap. Though he really liked the interior.
When he asked the salesman about the tail lights not aligned and interior not done properly guess what was salesman reply. "Sir jee ye display unit ha isi liay ismay ye issue ha, jab ap ki gaari ayegi wo ek dum theek hogi" -_-
Then he asked about the immobiliser and salesman said "sir gaari ab choro ka beech famous hogaye to ab hum kya kar saktay ha?" XD
And my told him about his car stolen from his bungalow due to immobiliser not being provided and salesman said "Sir MashAllah sa apka bungla ha, guard to apko rakhna chaye tha" -_-
Then my cousin said leave it, issay behter to meri reborn ha and the salesman came with some paper that was comparing performance between new civic and corolla and the salesman said "Sir ap ye dekhe, hamari naye corolla ki performance kitni achi hogaye ha" And my cousin got angry and said performance achi hui hogi lakin behter nae, compare karna choro kam sa kam jo civic ma ha wo to do tum log and left!
Literally when my cousin was telling this to me, I bursted into laughter. Illiterate and idiot salesman they have -_- seriously, was that salesman high on drugs? :P
