which vitz u r talking about if u r talking about new vitz then i think u dont have driven new vitz...ask any owner of vitz he will tell u every thing about new vitz .... u r only supporting pdm cars....face the truth if u compare both cars then vitz is way ahead..

n one question more ager logon ko swift itni hee pasand hai to 7 8 months hogaye hai swift ko aye meine to bohat kum dekhi hai roads per uski waja yeh hai kay log new vitz laina pasand kartay hai kyon kay price same hai dono ki aur competition hai dono mein .......aur yehi waja hai kay liana ko log kyon nahi laitay woh isi liya aprox liana lxi ki price mein new city n xli mil jati hai .......n u people appreciate tht liana which is nothin....

The reason why Liana is not that much popular is this..

Its not because there are faults in the car.. It is because of the marketing policy adopted by Pak Suzuki for the Liana.. For example the car was released but its software was released after a long time.. And many other marketing factors..

So, we can say that the car is excellent(Those who own it know this fact very well), but due to the Marketing policy which has flaws, it doesn't became that much popular although I think now it's gaining its place in the market..

I also think Swift as far better than vitz..

PakSuzuki was, is and will be the leading car makers and producers in Pakistan.. Thumbs UP..

common both swift n liana got same engine m13a which is a worst engine built by suzuki

its better to get a cultus efi even then a swift as cultus efi even got more acceleration and speed then a vitz

but overall comfort etc compared i go for vitz

For your kind information swift M13A engine is upgraded version and same engine is being used all over the world. This swift is same as JDM,euorpean market except the engine CC which is marketed as per the particular market conditions.As far as engine problems are concerned there is none in swift and i haven't come across a single problem in 4 months of use and haven't heard about one from anyone. It is also worth mentioning here that newer liana engines are also upgraded and have no problem.
Cultus can't be compared with swift, there is hell of a difference b/w the two, cultus is pure crap.

I have tried swift my self and all I can say is that it is an awesome car.. Vitz is just like a crap in front of swift.. And jahan tak popularity ki baat hai to ho sakta hai ke Paksuzuki ki marketing policy main koi flaw ho.. but jahan tak baat hai car ki, It's an excellent and awesome car and vitz can't compete with it.

I am having Liana for four years now.. Never have experienced any problems regarding engine..

I also have a civic.. Uskay 10 chakar lag chukay hain workshop ke jab ke civic Chalti bhi Liana se kum hai..

It is M13A but the non-vvt version. The swift being sold in all other territories has a M13A VVT engine version instead which is better on economy than the simple version and produces lower emissions.

they have 1.3L and 1.6L Sport version

and like the poster above me has said and i agree tht the engine is one step below the ones sold in European Markets its still very good non the less

Swift is overall a better car imo but some ppl feel Vitz is the better car

but u cant say Swift is crap or Vitz is crap like some ppl r claiming
both r decent hatchbacks and both will serve their purpose

i say Swift here in Pakistan is a decent car but tht doesnt not mean all other cars sold by PakSuzuki r upto standards

Liana ki sales dekh lain ap 1.3L Family Sedan Class

if i have 11 - 13Lkh Rs why wuld i buy a Liana when i can buy
1) a Honda City whose drive and facelift design is too good to pass up
2) Corolla XLI + 10kRs power windows and i got one hell of a durable car with cheap maintainance and very excellent Resale value
