Swift or Vitz?

On the basis of these powerfull features it is known as "Mini Camry"
Nodoubt in reliability and equipped with safety features the logo of Toyota on steering wheels give much much comfort.

Being a keen observer of the 2 cars, frankly i love both... but findings are:

1. I like Swift 1300cc power over Vitz 1000cc (Not comparing with 1300cc Vitz as its not the generally accepted one in the market). If Vitz 1300 taken then its by no means lower than Swift.

2. Economy of both cars is very Good with Vitz 1000cc a little margin ahead.

3. Vitz count i.e. Liking is evident by its count on the roads. (Its Stats)

4. JDM and PDM is a very big difference. (We all know it). I compared both body n make quality and i saw the Swift is an improvement as not expected from Suzuki but still lacks a lot.
   You all can compare rest Corolla and Civic JDMs and PDMs and see ur self. Dont go into the details but compare what both offer in common.

5. Note that JDM Swift 2006/2007 (old) and Swift PDM Brand New are of almost same price. Maybe this tells the story.

Soooo.... Buy an unregistered Vitz and see its Auction sheet issued by Japan authority. If require Economy with Comfort then Vitz1000cc with my loving Beige interior. If possible go for the rarely available Yaris T3..
To quench your Power thirst with Comfort go for 1300 cc Vitz.
IF AND ONLY IF CONFUSED.... N Unable to Figure out a Good Vitz... GO FOR SWIFT !

vitz is better in all aspects, swift isn't bad either
but at the end of the day Swift is from SUZUKI and vitz is from TOYOTA

bro he is favouring vitz..because he has its experience....no doubt vitz is underpowered but still it is much better in comfort,resale,quality etc than other cars in this class....vitz is a very nice car ....i have it since 2 years...n still it is running like a brand new car ..problemless unlike people says used cars like vitz will give u problem after buying because they r abused...u just need to have ur hands on a clean piece n u r way to go...otherwise swift is not a bad choice at all..but i like vitz....no offence its my choice....

hats off to naveed, I own a vitz 2005 2009 import and trust me (allah nazar se bachaye) i havent seen a mechanic since. I have made round trip from lahore and it costed me 5500 rs fuel on one side, which automatic offers this sort of fuel consumption. the only benefit with swift is that with the passage of time its parts would become cheaper like with any other suzuki car, but i have seen a collection of swifts with malfunctioning brake lights.
to sum up with both have their advantages, but i m a satisfied vitz owner....

^^ Never seen factory fitted leather interior in any Vitz imported to Pakistan...infact never seen one with factory fitted chrome grille/door handles/A/C ducts etc? Which version would that be, surely not the "F" or "U" Package that is commonly imported by dealers. Although I do agree that Vitz 1.3L is definitely a better drive than Swift as it is in automatic and has similar power/acceleration.

brother its a vitz ill , it has leather interior , da rear seat is bit luxurious , has rpm , has silver strips in da steering wheel , a leather in steering wheel as well ! n comes in unique colours !

I went on a trip to Mangla and islamabad in 2009. It is the latest shape. As u know Mangla and Islamabad have steep slopes which makes is merely impossible for 2wd cars to climb let alone 1000cc cars. Just to test my Vitz, we were 5 teenagers in the car. Believe it or not the car climbed with ease. PLUS we put AC on full speed. Vitz is definitely powerful, i bet more powerful than swift in the above case i mentioned. So please who all saying that vitz is underpowered, dont do so without experience. No offence

Hey man, i am in Islamabad for the last 10 years, never seen such slopes you are talking about. Lets talk about Murree, I have several times seen vitz stuck at the the start of the track. No offence but vitz owners should be happy at every speed breaker they cross because its a really underpowered car. (H)
