Swift shocks sound problem

i will try to spray it with WD-40 and share the results if it really helps or not.

When you buy Suzuki you should make peace with these type of noises. If you are sensitive then buy Corolla or Honda.

I have a Swift 2014 and same sound from left front shock. Never felt bothered. Petrol dalwao tay chalao.

can i spray oil myself? which areas should i spray?
does it have to be from down under or can i spray from sides?

so i sprayed wd-40 yesterday and the sound is still there. what should i do now?

i dont know why but clutch got pretty soft after spraying.

Bad move. Dont spray oil or wd40 again.
It eats paint. It eats up body cavity wax. Its kerosine based so it dissolves the already present grease and your suspension is sealed so you cant do anything about it.

I have a brand new swift with 15k on the clock and its been like this since the day i bought it.
The reason im okay with it is that i checked my friend's automatic swift and it has the same squeaky noise on speed bumps.

i have a 2012 swift,done 27 K. since the last few days i am hearing sound from front shock, every time my car gets over from speed bump. sound feels like something is dried up. are there any lubricants which keeps shocks running smoothly and not make a sound whenever they are in used (usually after a speed bump). sound usually comes when shocks go from pressed to normal.

i dont know who to explain the sound it makes but it is closed to '[I]kii kii'. [/I]i went to 3s dealership today and the guy from the administration told me to not to worry about it and suggested that after getting your car serviced, spray oil under the shocks while car is elevated on the lift.

i am not convinced by his guidance. what do you brothers think? what might be the problem and what do you suggest?
how to make it go away?

Faced a similar problem in one of my Mira, he is actually correct that spraying oil will solve the problem but thats not the correct solution, The sound goes for a week or two and comes back again. Never found the solution though

modern day cars dont require any sort of lubrication because most components are internally working
CV joint are greased and are inside boots
ball joints,rack ends etc too have a rubber boot which has grease inside
Shock absorbers are filled with oil/gas inside
so theres nothing to lubricate
consult a good suspension guy

yes they do and you should replace them

I am driving Swift sine 1 Yr plus. Now almost 17000 driven. There is some plastic sound from left rear which Suzuki is unable to diagnose since FFS and so on. They say its normal working of shocks but I do not agree. Although the sound in neither increasing nor any damage has occurred, it is an irritant at times particularly when driving on concrete pavement particularly at very low speeds. No issue in suspension or shocks so far and nothing loose in trunk. Kindly help, how to rectify?

no i was not able to find the cause.so i have started to ignore it along with many noises from the interior

It may be coming from inside of boot door. In my car there were some loose wires touching the body on bumps
