Hi everyone!

I am amazed at why hasn't any one mentioned the Sports Complex's pool here. I haven't been there, but I intend to join it, and I am certain since it is a government property it has to be of huge size. Secondly, since it is also located in a somewhat posh area of Islamabad, it has to be somewhat well-maintained.

If anyone has any information regarding the aforementioned pool, please share.

My second (or may be first) priority would be the Islamabad Club (IC). But that is beyond my reach, because I am not a rich kid and don't belong to an elite family. It is probably small in size but the entire club comes with its own privileges. Perhaps, I would be more interested in the shooting range at IC.

If anyone has any information regarding a affordable, limited version sort of membership of the IC, then please do share. But I don't have my hopes high regarding this, and neither should anyone else.

try ur luck at sports complex, they dont give it to any1 without reference

as for IC, its full membership at full price, or find a current member, tag along with them as guest for free

As for IC you mean the full price of 1000000 PKR?
I wish, if I could spare that much for this or even had that much in total I wouldn't even be in Pakistan in the first place, I suppose.
Waise, as far as I know, IC has that reference sort of thing. I mean even if you have 0.1 Million PKR you are still not eligible if you are not exactly the Elite.

Besides, not everything is online when it comes to Pakistan. For instance, try to find an e-mail contact for someone at the sports complex. Even if you somehow manage, then see how soon (if at all) somebody replies. Private sector is somewhat different it has limited online presence.

Woooooow, I wonder how it even keeps functioning. It's the taxpayers money being enjoyed by the civil servants.

Will keep you posted regarding my sports complex application. I don't have a reference, but I have my hopes high. I will visit the complex myself in a few days.

will be going there myself

one thing good about it is that its very cheap, just 6k per annum, back then it was 12k now its even more cheap, 6k is nothing, others charge that much for a month or 2

Actually they are bound, it's government property which is run by the taxpayers money. They have mentioned an e-mail at the official website so yes it is relevant.
Same goes for phone numbers. I mean otherwise how else is someone supposed to get the information.
If it is about being online, then they should even have an online application portal.

Already have the form printed and filled, just waiting for the heat to turn down. Schools are going to reopen in mid-august.

Just heard a rumor that the Police Lines one is always too crowded and the sports complex one is just moderately crowded at the worst.
