Honda Genuine oil with Total oil Production and sealed by Caltex... confirm wrong number hai.. next time i ll not use it... 100% sure this is useless oill

Use Liqui moly 5W40, and ceratec for avoiding any leaks....that would be ok... INSHALLAH

Yes if we get original brand of shell, caltex or total which i think easily available from reputable gas stations then why to use imported one.

And xulfiqar bro wats ur suggestion if i switch to SHELL or TOTAL 10W40 from 20W50 PETRON mineral oil, is it fine to do so? And what abt 10W30? Can u plz suggest which one will b better? 10W40 or 10W30?

call their respective offices and ask where to buy it from, simple as that. For viscosity choose according to the future weather you will encounter. e.g. you will not want to use 20W50 if you are going to encounter -20C.

There is no 5w40 or 5w30 mineral oils

really i used to get hx7 5w40 shell blue pack now I only used shell ultra 5w40 which was 5w30 last year..........maybe they change the grades of shell hx7 also

there are other brand in 5w40 minerals like in LM, Castrol or Zic

Dont know about lm, but 5w in castrol and zic are either semi synthetic or fully synthetic. And hx7 is now 5w30 semi synthetic and ultra is 5w40 fully synthetic

not exectly, honda buys oil from both caltex and total in batches to keep a competition between suppliers, i always asked them to get me the caltex one which is the same caltex formula 10w30, unfortunately now honda has stopped the mineral oil and only there 5w30 Fully synthetic oil is available with them,,, i haven't yet decided to either stick to my current havoline formula 10W30 (buy it from caltex pump since not available with honda) or move on to 5W30 fully synthetic, i have 2 honda city current model one is around 50k driven other is @ 94 k,

Today i changed my car's oil from 20W40 to total quartz 5000 10W40, i observed that car's pick is too gud & i can feel the smoothness, knocking is also reduced, now it seems that i made a good choice.

Total oils are not all that bad! Ive been using total quartz 9000 5w30(imported) in my civic 8th gen and its going gud so far..but one thing for sure is that the economy has decreased as compared to when i was using caltex formula 10w30..maybe cz 5w30 might be more viscous..but its fully synthetic and it keeps the engine clean so i wuld recommed total quartz 9000 5w30 for honda civic users!..

5w30 is thinner and less viscous. It should give better fuel economy as compared to 10w30

Dont use 10w30. Use 10w40 sgo suzuki premium api sg silver dabba. It is around rs.1200 for 3 litres. Buy from suzuki dealerships only. U may get the oil changed from anywhere but purchase it from dealership only

Sir just ensure that you are pouring the original quartz 9000. It should give u better fuel economy as compared to 10w30.

sir u r right but havoline formula 10w-30 semi synthetic and much better in specification than 10w-40 sgo premium silvr daba so that is it much better please explain.

Havoline formula 10w30 is mineral. Mehran owners manual recommends using 10w30 if your city's temperature is within 30 degrees. Furthermore havoline formula is api sm and is for advanced engines with hydraulic tappets or rocker roller tappets. Mehran has flat tappets, so use api sg or sj only.
