Switching from Shell Helix HX5 10-40 to HX3 20-50

Na bro, not always original. Jo pumps 1 litre petrol pe 50 ML chori kar sakte hain wo oil original nahi rakhenge kabhi. It's my way of thinking. But yea few big pumps do have original oil.

Yup, why are you switching away from Shell? I find it very reliable to be honest.

Cultus engine is from 1990s tech and this engines requires zddp which is present till sL grade... Shell 10w40 is SN which does not contain required amount of zddp for cultus carby.. Im using havoline 10w40 sj which contains required amount of zddp i never used 20w50 of any engine oil company in my car​you havent read my post i buy havoline from very trusted shop have been using shell from f6 shell pump and now in my next oil change will opt for zic x7000 which is sL grade (havoline is making tappet noise at cold start otherwise it performing good) this zic oil is being used by @hassantahir2 in his cultus carby and khyber this engine oil has more cleaning power than other oil...

I ordered the same oil too. And I am facing crankshaft rattle at cold start with Havoline 10W40 oil​

Shell HX3 20W50 hai. It is thicker oil bro.
I wanna stick with 10W40

Ye baat agar waqai theek hai to next time I will try Zic may be. Just bought 10W40 Shell Helix HX5 although most people in my circle insisting on 20W50 because my car is driven 183000 KMS.

Dont listen to USTADDSS wo is leya 20w50 bolte hain tka engine our jalde weak ho cultus carby kay leya 20w50 bilkul thek nhi hai due to its hydraulic lifters.agr engine weak bhi ho tu phir bhi 10w40 use krain. Shell ka mene ap ko bata deya hai sare logic jo mujy pakwheels experts ne batai hain is se pehla ma bhi shell he use krta tha from 2001 and my old engine was overhauled twice it was going to be overhauled third time but i changed assembly this time.
