yaar problem is honda antenna shop Ustaad here @ my city is strict
He always strongly recommends to use AHL oil specially when bike is under warranty
so thats why i have started using this oil & weather is not very hot these days
so i was looking for 20w40 grade oil. havoline 20w40 is not available in 1lt bottle
thats why listened the suggestion of Ustaad & using AHL oil
I had once tried this oil in summer too it had worked good
The only oil which i don't like is Zic 10w40
as i used it in my bike. bike was getting hot even in city drive
i use to feel heat in my feet from engine side covers

Same problem here..My dealer cautioned me that as the bike is under warranty no claim would be entertained if any oil other than Honda's is used..But the quality of Honda's oil is pathetic if you compare it with Havoline or others..I shifted onto havo after experiencing burning smell/lower viscous oil after 500Kms..I was thinking of shifting to Castrol..But i may shift back to Honda oil just for the sake of warranty..

ZiC does not play well with Honda 100s and higher models.

Well there is no doubt Havo is a gr8 oil..Its just that 20w50 1 liter pack is not JASO-MA certified which made me change my mind..By far castro activ is the best in terms of mineral based oils..It is imported from Dubai i.e not synthesized in Pakistan..

Caltex Havoline 20w50 1lt has kept my bike engine cool
& AHL 20w40 nowdays working good for me
said good bye to Caltex Havoline 20w50 1lt as its motor oil no where on bottle
mentioned that it is meant for motorcycles although had not faced any issue with that
So I can't recommend that Bro you may give try to Shell or Castrol both have good reputation in market
do look for grade 20w50 as you are saying you feel as if engine getting hot
so have a try to 20w50 & check how bike behaves
Personally I have not tried non of them in my deluxe

some boy said that AX5 and AX7 are not synthetic..
i am sure that AX7 issemi synthetic whle AX5 is not clear ..
some member here mentioned that these are/ or will be available in pakistan . havent searched them in the local market .. specs looks impressive ..

can someone tell me where can i find castrol .. as its jaso ma2 one .. whereas havo is not .. so its a bit concerning me ... because jab aik achi specs ma cheez mil rahi ha tho kamzor specs wali cheez kion khareeday bnda ..

and i downloaded the manual for my thoom70 it says to use SAE 20w50 and API-SF... whareas havo is sg .. one standard low ... even by the standards of cHondas .. lol......

for the time being i want castrol .. laikin i wont buy from regular shops .. as they are very unreliable ..

castrol activ price is 380 ... widely available ... its slightly thicker and mechanics suggests it for old engines ...

AHL Oil for CD 100 is 20-40W and is API-SF/CD
So this oil is technically outdated and have obsolete standard?

Manual recommends api sf/sg/sj 20w40...All these are composed of same base oils..The difference lies in different emission control standards which ultimately forced api/sae to revamp there oils with more additives which helped in controlling emissions greatly..For pakistan scooters any oil will work give its API-SG minimum..API-SL is best if it has no friction modifiers.

and which manufacturer is providing AHL with oil?? must have some sign of original supplier at the bottom as AHL is not an oil manufacturer itself.

on AHL bottle of oil no mention of any Jaso MA certification only API-SF/CD is mentioned
and this oil is manufactured by Shell Pakistan, formally Total was manufacturing

shell's own engine oil in their packing even doesnt says its jaso-ma .. on site they say it is jaso ma .. dont know whats the real.. it may be they are fooling people through web site ..

My Recommendation:
I have tried this time PSO's Blaze 4T in my '79 Kawasaki 100 Sports and 2004 Hero RF70. For the time being, it is working fine enough on both bikes. I am satisfied. It is 20w50 grade oil and the price in PKR 260/-.

For 2-Stroke owners:
I have tried this time PSO's 2-Stroke Oil for Superlube Oil Injection (the side oil), but I'm not satisfied with it as the unburnt oil keeps spilling from the silencer. Earlier I had used T-2 Petromark's Oil, that was more or less satisfactory. 1litre bottle of PSO's 2-Stroke Oil cost me PKR 285/- and T-2's cost was 220/-.

@Munnapak89,Same experience as yours PSO(White botel & yellowish oil) is expensive & less satisfactory.So I'm using Petromark's T2 oil(Blue bottle & red oil ) from a year.
