^ they ned to improve the finish of precast segments. Bridges are not just the transportaion element. These are alot associated with aesthetics. If I was an inspector here. I would have rejected most of segments. I dont know when we will switch to steel formwork. wood formwork one main reason for non finsihed face.
Now they will make a cement sand masala in 1:10 and apply with brush like a paint underneath.

Instead of spending billions on bridges and flyovers they should focus on the need of the person who rides to work on a bicycle.

He does not have the facility of clean drinking water, he lives with loadshedding, the food he eats is adulterated, the medicine he needs he can't afford, the quality education that his children need is non-existent. Clearly this bridge is not for him and neither does it change anything for him.

It started 6 months ago (not sure as i,m mostly in isb) and it was supposed to be completed in march but due to some changes in it now it will end in next month INSHAALLAH

Bro a large no of filtration plant are working inside the city and a large no of rehabilitation and hospitals and clinics are made for poor people , a government medical college , traffic control system is updated and a lot of things are going around i don,t know much as for 2 years i,m mostly living in isb.... but will share other projects too once i visit Gujranwala but you agree or not a lot of things are getting better and better for every class of people

i,m also in isb for 2.5 years due to studies and the thing i miss the most is all the eating stuff specially those sweets you mentioned and Satellite town k GOL GAPPY and Papri Chaat

Visit it after few months you will feel a big change on every road specially sialkot road they have updated everything they can

^ I hope they are fixing the public utilities after all this excavation. I rememebr we were widening a road and the excavator ripped the main fiber optic connecting Peshawer near Akora Khattak. a million phones were disconnected.. (H) The contractor was fined for 25 lakh rupya.. which he paid only 2 lakh that too in bribing the officals. I remember we marked that there is a wire there but the driver of excavator said " saab ji bay fiqar raho.. main ustad hun iss main".. sari ustadi nikal gae aik minute main.

Yes they will as i remember while carpeting the Sialkot road they had to demolish some buildings and boundary walls and than everything was recovered before the completion of road but i don,t know who recovered everything
