Bike is good. I want to import one as well. I am just worried about the maintenance. How do you go about the service and spares of this bike?

We do have mechanics here for timely maintenance & tune up!
Although parts are bit hassle to source but can be sourced now.

You just need to have pocket and patience for that. Although in my biking carrier I haven't face the hassle on sourcing any specific part

A sad today in the biking history of Pakistan

One of my dearest friend and riding companion named (Yonus) lost the battle of his life in the road accident happened last night.

I am still in the state of deep shock. May Allah bless him with higher rank in Jannah !

'Go for a rip' is a North American term which means go for a drive; a leisure cruise or a trip.

In our schools; pupils are taught British English so the confusion here is understandable!

For example; گاڑی کی ڈکی is called 'Boot' in England whereas it's known as 'Trunk' in North America.

Same goes to 'petrol pump' and 'gas station' (Gas = Gasoline = Petrol)! Most Pakistanis new to North America get confused and think of 'gas stations' as 'CNG Pumps'!

Great Bike Brot. But why didnt you like the Yamaha R1?

I feel like Yamaha manufactures more like race inclined super-sport bikes. Bike feels like in air only after 8,000 RPM band. The heat vents on R1 & R6 are directed towards your legs. You can't bear the heat once the bike is standing idle at signals or somewhere the temperature going over 200F !

Although these bikes are treat to drive in Northern Region. That's why probably Yamaha bikes are most demanded bikes abroad

Why is it still unregistered after 7 years?

That's a common mind set ongoing from decades in our country!
Bikes which get's registered are difficult to sell. Somehow things are changed now. It's a not an issue these days.

My 750 was registered by myself. Didn't registered 600 so as this R6. Although I never bought GSXR's for intention of re selling

Yonus was a great rider. He did uses the quality body armor and helmet.
At the time of accident he was only wearing helmet that too with open straps

Waiting to see k-four-nine's bike. Even though I don't own a bike (I am a 4x4 enthusiast and own a jeep) but I follow this thread. It is very unfortunate that a lot of critics/commentators are displaying theoretical skills (courtesy of Wikipedia and knowledge purloined from the web) without having any practical knowledge of the vehicles/bikes being discussed in these forums.
