Lunch was skipped and we were lucky there was only one hotel open in Astor and there Kashif made a chicken karahi..... yummy

No Match of the inbuilt cooking skills of Fihsak, on our Astor's stop he said he will cook but Jays wanted to the professionals to do the Job, anyways he took the charge to make 1 Karahi for 4 Gs & when it was dinner time everyone who tasted the Special Kabli Chicken Karahi went mad!

Simplest ingredients, just salt, tomato, wonderful taste!

Though this was too Hot & our efforts were diverted towards beating the heat, Babusar's glacier & coolbox did the great Job in chilling up Lemon Malt.

However, there's no match for the beauty of the Dry bed of Chilaas, we would have enjoyed more of that on the Air Conditioned variant of Mogs :D. As parapilot said, Chilaas is above the Tree Line

KKH is very very dusty at few miles and there we found a company.... a chines driver riding on a truck and was not giving way to mogs... just making the dusty ride even worst.... BeeMog tried overtaking him but he was not in a mood and Bash had a narrow escape rolling over.... DeeMog went nutt and taught him some lesson that he had never taken from any school....
Now he was eating dust of both Mogs....

Mr. DIY (Fateh) was driving BeeMog and I was enjoying chilled lemon malt in DeeMog's dala and watching that cheenee's pathetic road sense, when BeeMog was halfway to cross the dumper the cheenee tilted the dumper towards BeeMog and Fateh had to drive it over the rocks on the edge of the road, thanks to high ground clearance which saved it from the rocks but this advantage is disadvantage on high speed cuts.

DeeMog kicked the a... of Mr. Jackie chin's nephew before we turned towards Astore!

@Imtishal, Thank You, yes all these places are worth visiting and I can bet Nothing can be more beautiful than Northern areas of Pakistan. Unfortunately we have been hit by the worse weather crisis and access to these areas have been blocked, lets pray everyone gets a chance to visit these places and have this lifetime enjoyment!

Sir g,There is only 1 DeeMog and 1 BeeMog in whole Pakistan.Hence not everyone can visit these places on the 'urran khatola' in ur 'shahi sawari manner' ,unless u r planning to haul a full 'barat' next time u visit these places...

It's amazing to see the landscape change when one crosses kaghan valley and enter into Karakoram range.Kaghan looks and feels innocent and harmless,whereas karakoram put fear into hearts by their vastness, roughness and barrenness.Also,i feel kaghan valley looks at outsiders with friendliness and welcomes them, whereas KK looks at them with doubts and anger,as asking 'Oo pai kithaye mouh chuk kaye laga aa rahaya aein, Okkat vich reh, u r nothing in front of me'..

You guys are Lucky MashAllah, you need 2 full tanks and 24 hours to reach Heaven. We in Karachi need 8 full thanks and 96 hours

Thank You Hanif Bhai, here's an offer, tie-up the next summers with Team Unimog :), take the flight from Karachi to Islamabad (though Air travel is not looking healthy due to the unfortunate incident happened last week)

The additional 72 Hours drains the energy to explore the areas which are just few hours away from the normal road.

Dasbala Water Crossing (20KM before Chilam Choki) - The current in the water crossing near Dasbala didn’t let us to cross, it was simply suicidal, the rock flowing in the water and their size was massive, making the track unstable and immediately after the track there was a 20-30 feet ditch. I can well imagine NN’s situation on the water crossing before Shindoor I read in the IJC Summer Camp Thread. We had to stop there for night while on our way up to Chilam and on our return as well . We slept in mog and few jays opened a local school room one first night
