A few days before the end of the first band 60 years ago Gaggenau Unimog Daimler-Benz signaled on 27 June 1951 at the DLG Exhibition in Hamburg to the Holy Spirit impressive field that the Unimog is being built now by them. Roger!

It is surprising in retrospect that show the huge trade towers not only the "ox head" but also the "Mercedes star", it is sgnificant to notice that until 1953 Unimogs were not branded with the Emblum.

Anyways, Germany is all set for the biggest Unimog GTG on June 4th to begin with the celebrations. There previous record was 530 back in 2001.

530 is good amount of Unimog truck population gathered at one place.... lets celeberate the 60th aniversary in G4 style ... lets call this year "Save Unimog in Pakistan"

bought new fuel tank and redoing the electric fuel pump fitting to make it more reliable and easy for Pump change DIY during expedition.... initially it was Janjs idea to fit the fuel pump in the fuel tank to keep the pump cool in hot conditions.... last year Janj did it a day before departure day for 8 days Team Unimog tour de north.... and it was a successful DIY....

Idea was to make a bigger hole..... here we go....

got the 6mm metal ring made from kharadia to bolt on the fuel pump bracket....

DD as a backup plan a recovery was arranged to keep your mog moving:) I still remember your face which was saying Janj gone crazy putting a electric fuel pump to feed a plunger type diesel pump, what about excess fuel? It was one difficult decision in that situation!
