Not too many differences from DeeDee's Mog I think. Only DeeDee needs those tires.

Did any of you see a documentary the past couple of days aired on Nat Geo? It was about a group of three men who went running across the sahara desert. The Unimog 1750L was the main support vehicle used. Along with the Mog, there was support from 6-7 different LCs, 60, 70, and 80 series.

@Basharatu....same model as yours. ... 421.128 with fabrication to bumper and snorkle done by doc.

@RKR....i need these tires and if i will be able get my mog power steering than 12.5R20 vampire :).

i have also seen unimogs doing recoveries in Dakar rally one was same the other 406.

cant say for sure that its mounted on chasis or not but again you can do that.....the perfect and practical rollcage so far.....typical touring style

I can check the model and all but I dont think he would be sure himself since he just buys weird vehicles and parks them.

And about the speed... deedee, he would be lying if he says that his mog has ever been to 80 kms.. Cuz it now has some Toyota engine and I have driven it and didnt like it at all!!

Ali if doc bought army auctioned than it is 421 because Pak army only have 2 variant in unimog 1)421 open and close top and 2) 416 power steering bigger engine and only close top like mine.

the original engine is sufficient and has enough power to keep the wheel spinning.... i drove it above 80km/h.....

Good Eve Team. I had a word with doc Sb. and he told me that he is using BJ40's servo for brakes. He also referred a mechanic of Abbotabad who did this. He sounds satisifed with the current performance of brakes.

However, after getting ur feedback on the ride, I am wondering if this is a good ideae. Need to have a ride...

I just went there and checked for myself.

His brakes are not assisted at all. His brake master cylinder is from a Japnese vehicle though cuz it says AISIN on it.

I have taken pictures too and will post them in a bit.

Its a 421 U600L I checked on the chassis plate.

And his nephew is a very close friend of mine he told me he has done around 70km/h and it like pretty smooth and decent.

^^^^Basharat that will be great to have a ride but Ali was only commenting on the engine not the brakes. we got to do the brake stuff first and than to power steering (if possible)....

brakes shud be single paddle and reliable.....

Yours is same as Docs then... its a 421 U600L and so is docs..?

Does Basharat have the same one too?

Docs Nephew says that when they got it, they got the original engined rebuilt which was done locally in Abbotabad and prolly was a pretty shabby job! So doc was not happy with the performance at all and went for the transplant.

And after driving it I feel it shoudn't have been done at alllllllllllllll!
