@Fishak, Thank U Boss, as told U, need 2 hunt some other stuff as well, will visit peshawar after EID. Guys finalize the plan for GTG in Isloo. Khiva is making some really tasty Uzbik & Tajik dishes & we can plan the drive to Kashgar on Unimog

Its rear Black Canvas was stolen last year after returining to ISLOO, I loved that & its rinkle free material. This is also in plan but after roll cage will see what we need!

I think this was going up on the track, I changed the gear just before that climb & I think was driving it in Forward;Low Rev; 4X4; Speed 3 & wasnt expecting that much tilt on the bend. Didnt had brakes while coming back & drove it in "Forward;Low Rev;4X4; Speed 2" U can imagine the speed!

i found out on my first offroading the low 3 is the best option for incline....chk out articulation of you mog....simply good and now with new and longer shocks will be better...

@DeeDee, It was made by a guy in Pindi @ very nominal rate, I wouldnt call it very durable but the stuff looked very nice till the time it stayed in mog :). The guy took 3Hrs to stich the same & the truck gave real Ammo Carrier look. So while coming back from Neelam Track we had to take off the hoody to give some civilian look & avoid any firing from the eastern side

This will be done while on our cross country trip. Fishak gave a freat idea regarding seats to be installed in the dala & mine will be 8 seater (including dirver) if I go for that plan. However, passengers will love the comfort!

low 3 is best for high (comparatively :)) speed incline, it is also very effective if U want to chase a rabbit in the fields (freshly made by tractor).

you are concentrating more on the comfort of passengers than the driver....first mount recaros for driver and than go for passenger seating

Panga Update from Isloo:-

Went to the Mog killer & this time swapped few items. Mog has got a new snorkel, previous one wasn’t in a great shape. I have also swapped it's tank opener, the previous one had some leakage issue & I was not exceeding half tank capacity due to save fuel :). I soft-top’s roof rubber which helps the air to flow inn from the roof. Haven’t tested it yet.

My brother started work on mog's wiring himself & found two of the wires melted together due to short circuit. Both have been replaced by him & it’s almost ready for night driving. Left side sealed beam was malfunctioning & I will be looking for the same in my today's visit to the killer. I have got that Mog's genuine hose pipe for U

, will be looking for the remaining 3 pieces. I am also planning swap the radiator, let’s see If I can close the deal. These will be installed on asap basis!

Fishak & his bro was here and it was pleasure meeting him. Good knowledge & artistic sense. He has suggested something very interesting & now I am keen to search Mog's front cabin doors for that project’s inventory (planned on the roll cage making stage).

I am loving the new comfortable drive after suspension works, on coming Saturday I will be working on service of Generator, Sulf & Diff Locks panga.

get yourself a reasonable seat also .... passengers can put mattress on the dala and enjoy...

as discussed yesterday..loved the idea of upgradation to dala...go for it and find me a dala bro...i am loosing traction ....

spanCalibri","sans-serif";"This is what Diffs can do, now keeping this as top priority in my Punga, yesterday I have purchased the equipment to test the theory given by my bro. It’s very simple, a 50ML syringe to pull the oil, a piece of rubber pipe which is used in Car's wiper system, 1 Liter of PTF. UNIMOG operation has been planned @ 5:30PM today. If this works then we will post a chapter on bleeding diffs without pumping the lever or wasting a drop of oil for the "Global Punga Community"

spanCalibri","sans-serif";"I went to the killer as per my plan, Radiator has been replaced with a clean version :). It will go through the cleaning from inside today & will be installed in the evening. I have also got a 24V sealed beam replaced from him & lights were installed yesterday. Since, last weekend we are doing most of the tasks our self & it’s more than fun. Yesterday, we learnt to make the locks which can fix the sealed beam to the ring.

spanCalibri","sans-serif";"Today's target is to do some progress on diffs. I intend to change the color of my Mog in phase 3, it might happen earlier, however it wouldn’t be disclosed till its arrival in the event.

spanCalibri","sans-serif";"Its genuine meters which I purchased last week haven’t been installed yet & these will be installed on a metal sheet which will replace the stuff. I am thinking over its installation, either to take the whole Mog to the denter for this job, or just open the current sheet with meters which will give the idea of dimensions and take it to a fabricator to cut a sheet with same dimension but diameter bore should be as per the size of new Speedoz.
