After overnight stop at Astore we headed for our next destination, Karimabad Hunza. Weather was overcast that morning after passing through narrow valley of Astore we again met Indus river and started to follow KKH.The road condition is excellent and we drive was very comfortable, on the way stopped for few moments at the junction point of three mountain ranges and reached Karimabd by 2 PM. On the way we met short spells of drizzle. The weather was pleasantly cold. Short of Karimabad we stopped at PTDC motel, but there was no room available and settled at Darbar hotel. We rented a deluxe room for 7K. Room was spacious and clean. The hotel overall has good appearance. Went to dining area for lunch, decor was good but lunch was disappointing. After lunch we visited Altit and Baltit forts before ending our day.
