The new Key design is much better and stronger the previous one, specially the one I've with my Prado. I broke that twice and had to use glue to tighten it up!

That might be true but it comes with dual airbags and my worry is the hot weather in dxb, which can give it some hard time. I felt that after a year or so, it'll rattle between the seams and one might not be able rectify it.

Thats what you call an unbiased and proper review (Y)
One thing i've noticed is that the seats are too small(width) and hard, you get tired after only 30-40 minutes in the car. And talking about a heavy foot, I once had this car for a week in dubai and got 430-450 per tank.
As for performance both the 1.0L and 1.3L engines are adequate, but somehow both engines make the car feel slow and unresponsive. The 1.0 is very noisy compared to the 1.3. I actually do like the brakes, specially the feel of it.

Great write up! have seen hardly 2 or 3 of them down here, Somehow the cockpit view tells that many things are missing in interior but everything is there, anyways what's the price of Banzeen/Litre there?

I had visited a local Toyota dealer here in Madras yesterday, and i was told that that Aygo was the next release from Toyota in India, and it was going to be made here. The pics i've seen of it looks wierd. Have you seen one and can you take a pic if you come across the car, if it's sold where you at?.Thanx.I like none of this genre of Toyota cars. The Scion range has more to offer than these misshapen little craps.

Toyota Aygo shares platform with Pug 107 & Citreon C1 and I bet it'll be fun to drive but I doubt if it ever will make it to this side of horizon. In GCC, petrol prices dictates for bigger, heavier and humongous gas guzzlers. The only buyer for these small nifty cars here are South Asians, mostly.

Much higher then KSA, Aed6.25/gal!! Diesel was ridiculously 18.75/gal in Dubai but Abu Dhabi was selling for 8.25/gal in all other regions/states, thats why you can see huge lines of truck/buses in front of Adnoc fuel stations while Eppco were killing flies!

excelelnt write up SLR (Y) i feel that the 1999-2004 vitz/yaris was a MUCH better car than the new/current one, it seems toyota scaled evertything down (like quality) to make the new one more fuel efficient, cost effective to produce etc.

The one you mentioned had better quality. These ones just seems like wheat stems!! the Kia Rio I've has a solid thud to it but this one is a shame.... I think I should do a long term test write up for the Kia!!

Btw, I'm pretty much impressed with the new Lancer GLS, i'm not getting much time to gather my thoughts on that to write. The 2.0 ltr Engine might not be the best but one thing is for sure, the quality is by far the best in its class.
