Fatehpur is my nearest city, its situated on multan mianwali road. . 160 km from multan and 160 from mianwali. From Fateh pur one road goes to Athara Hazari (tremu head). This whole road is in Thal desert . . . And This mela is just 15 km from my village

Great thread portraying much tourism-neglected desert of Pakistan.

Thal Desert is in south of salt range between Indus and Jehlum/Chenab Rivers from Khushaab/Mianwali to Muzaffargarh.

I request @Iffu that also tell us some worth-visiting sites of this desert.

I request Iffu that show us pics from Machuu National Park (Chowk Azam). I found this on Google Earth.
