ifoo_786 Nice pics iffo bhai!!! I've visited your area a few times (nurpur thal - Ainoo to be exact) to see family friend. I myself belong to Khushab.
Its really nice region and somehow not on the radar of lots of folks I have met. Your thread will go a longway in intorducing thal desert to pakwheelers.

Wonderful thread!
I must say that your photographic skills are great.
I visited Thal desert last year on 14th April 2012. I went to Jhang, than 18 hazari and then almost 50 Km more.
Last year the Gram crop yield was very less but I have heard that this year the yield is very good.

Sadly only university degrees give you an authentication of knowing something, beside i understand public dealing is also a science.
You can do it alongside and simultaneously whilst ploughing and raising cattle ofcourse. I am one of those life long learners as well and i feel so drained when i am not learning soemthing new if you know what i mean lol There are institutes like open university.
BTW where are the pics of your bio-plant we all were anxiously waiting...

Jawan! IF you did what you said in your Quote then you are the biggest Paindoo I have seen in my entire life :(. Actually not only joking. You are not totally paindoo if you voted for a change. I love Paindooz like you. BTW i have seen exsmples of posh people living in central london where the rent/month is 4000+ and after a career they end up in a countryside and they love smell of cows dung and fresh milk. Cutting long story short you are already ahead in the game..lol;)

I ve been to layyah 3-4 times as we owned land there. the desert is beautiful! i loved driving around in it and also was once stuck in the middle of no where after the car's oil chamber hit a brick and was ruptured. that was some 20kms before chowk aazam at 9pm in winter (February 08) but i wud love to visit the place again n again on a PROPER offroad capable vehicle...

and oh, on my way back 2 days after rupturing the chamber, a truck driver suddenly changed lane while i was overtaking him, i had to drive off the road into sand at 100km/h... the wheels dug in and the front bumper got some scratches. it was tough driving there but i enjoyed every bit of it...
