XLi lacks features and ABS etc etc .... but calling it pathetic :S
In my opinion its not pathetic , u r getting a total brandnew car which is a corolla , exterior / interior and even the economical 1.3L engine everything is good ... only the problem is it lacks features but then again all cars are damn expensive these days so y always XLi is pathetic ???
I have never kept any XLi , have kept top of the line corolla twice after its launch in 2008 august .... Recently i had to go to sukkur from karachi and was supposed to come back again the same day ... hired a COROLLA 2011 model Gli manual , drove tht car from 5 in the morning till 3 pm continuously without taking any rest , and then again from 5 in the evening till 2 in the night ... I MUST SAY WHAT A CAR ... The Roads were bad after crssoing hyderabad , and near ranipur condition was too bad but COROLLA is really rough n tuff and quite comfortable too , passengers at the back seat were comfortable , seat was good according to them , the drive was good too , brakes arent bad either , road clearance is good for those disastrous roads , handling was ok grip was ok , mostly maintained 110 km/hr , no heat ups no issues EXCELLENT CAR .. and yes with eurostar tyres ! obv yokohama or any other wud have given better grip n comfort on bumps ..
