Imported off-peak units are only billed that are higher than the exported off-peak units.
In this case 161 imported off-peak units are already adjusted from the off-peak units exported. so my balance for this month was 1346 - 161 = 1185.

Guys, my humble 7.5kW system generated 32kW today - all pistons firing. At peak it touched 5.5kW per hour. How is this compared to your systems? I’m not expecting 100% efficiency ofc but need some datapoints from you guys.

At 32kW/day or for sake of simplicity 30kW/day * 30, I’m looking at 900kW/month generated, it’s pretty close to the estimations below.

I’m happy with the results so far as I want to dampen the damage by my 700-1100 units per month Wapda bill. It seems my energy bill should be down by 70-80% thanks to Suraj Maamu.

no need to worry, In Lahore-Islamabad, the average generation per kW in sep was approx 100-110kwh, your generation is still on the higher side

My system is 15KW.

On 12th there was no load shedding that day so my system generated 66KW. On 13th there was 2 hours of power outage at peak time from 11am to 12 and later in the evening 5pm to 6 so generation for that day was 53KW.

I am facing daily 2 hours of power outage for last 3 months. One hour from 11am to 12 and one hour from 5pm to 6.

TFS. Your numbers are in line with mine. so that means one can expect 22kWh per every 5kW array. Not bad. 15kW is colossal though. Means you’re done with paying Wapda.

PS. What inverter / model are you using? That seems like a desktop based web interface for your charts. Curious if mine offers one. The charts are pretty horrendous / limited on mine - SolarMax Dual PV9000

This is me in KHI. Huawei 15KW inverter with 17KW Panels. Tilt 11 degrees (raised structure)

13kw panels with 15kw Goodwe inverter in Lahore. 13th Oct saw 45kW. Don't remember the loadshedding though we regularly have 1 hour loadshedding from 1415 to 1515.
Today its 35kW till 1415

Good generation. Unfortunately load shedding is ruining our generation here in Lahore like today I have 2 hours of outage during the day from 0815-0915 and 1115-1215 so generation will be less than 50 units today.

Yes this is from the dashboard of their web portal. I am using GoodWe. It has both the app and the web portal. App has limited information while the portal has lots more.

Yup it’s the same problem here in rawalPindi as well. 1-2 hours of LS during Solar hours means 3-6 kWh less generated for export.

Mine exported 27 units to Wapda today. Do they handle peak hour differently eg if I use 10 units from Wapda 6-10pm today will it be a straight 27 units that I sold to them today minus the 10 Wapda units I purchased in peak hours or Wapda will sell those units for cash only ?

winters the sun light hours are short and peak (maximum capacity) generation will be between 10.30 am to 2.30 pm only., after 2.30 generation will start to drop and by 5. it will be under 25% (in Karachi)

exercise caution of power usage during winters.

I left a table for this in a reply up there - here it is again. If you plan your system accordingly it’s still manageable without reducing power usage excessively (not that power usage shouldn’t be minimized where possible).

In the worst months the total daily generation can go down by 30-35% from average monthly generation but I don’t think that’s a hard problem to solve.

Off-peak units imported are only adjusted against off-peak units exported. You pay for the peak units.

Guys anyone with SolarMax inverter knows how to access the web based portal / dashboard for it?

I can access via the app through BT or via the Wi-Fi reporting from inverter but the inverter also has its own Wi-Fi network built in which I CAN connect to but I haven’t figured out how to access its local dashboard (assuming it has one) or perhaps they have something on their website for stats tracking. My inverter is Solar max Dual PV9000 model.

I have a solarmax PV 6000+. I connected to the inverters wifi network in order to change the network it used to connect via wifi. Not sure if it is has a dedicated dashboard as such when connected directly to the inverter.
