It’s quite neat that you get an idea of how many panels you can fit in a specific area. I’m happy my 3rd floor roof can fit about 20kw which is good to know for future ref. I was thinking it wasn’t enough

It's needed to calculate shading, if the roof has raised safety wall/pardah on the sides.

I think Pylon has a setting to adjust shade etc. In my case my panels will be 10 ft elevated on top of 3rd floorand have no tall buildings/trees around so I just wanted simple # of panels / angle / tilt calculation.

everything is fine
that's the actual generation you get during peak hours

Bro I don't trust any dealer in Peshawar. Karkhano market is full of bad quality panels, Amin shopping plaza is the hub where panel parts are imported and assembled+coloured+labelled here. Today I went there to see if 17% GST reduction has some effect. Unfortunately the prices have been raised, saying that fuel prices have gone high.
However, a technician has told me you can find some good dealers in saddar kali bhari or deans plazza.
Kali bhari street has one inverters shop with the best price, i guess its "New Aman electric store", i will see the name on my next visit.
Also, in karkhano market, there is an electric shop in the street besides united plazza, i guess amin electric store, i will confirm the name. He has wholesale business of inverters, panels, etc. I bought my inverter from him.
For genuine panels, I would suggest pindi-islambad.

Since no one replied here. Based on extensive googling, wired the dc cooler to the 250w panel directly and viola its working like a charm from sunrise to sunset.

Bro, don't do that, you'll smoke the fan and cooler. If you have a 24v ups (having no solar input), try using a charge controller b/w the panel and the batteries. Better to use MPPT. If you want to use directly with cooler, use PWM without the ups. I haven't done that but seen some videos.
MPPT is about 7-10k pkr whereas pwm is 1.5-2k

Guys is it safe to have solar panels mounted on a 10 ft frame on top of a 2 story building?

My concern is if high wind will blow it away on a storm? I want it elevated because I’d like to keep the roof clear for walking / sitting.

If I mount the labels without the 10 ft elevated frame then it'll be safest as there are sidewalls on roof but that means we'll use precious sitting / walking space there.

I have a 3000va solar inverter but i have no batteries for it.
Its been a week the cooler is running fine on direct and running very good and fast as compared to its running on 12v battery from my ups. Its speeds increase and decrease with sun positioning like it is slow in the morning and evening but fast in the noon.

Net metering question: My understanding is that after 3 months of negative balance, Lesco pays the customer. Is it possible to request Lesco to Not return money and instead carry the negative balance/units forward to next months?
