Will get job done by different parties
Will source stuff myself (already know about dealers who've stuff I want)
Will get that installed by third party installer (there are many out there)
Later on, will get boring earthing etc done, usually companies are charging +-150k-200k for boring earthing arrestor etc+ Net Metering
That's how I will proceed
Not like the complete package for 10-20 lac
Only problem in this case is, no one will take responsibility as complete job will involve 3 parties

A member last year got 5kw system from pantera
Now he wants to add 2-3kw pv input (it's 10kw goodwe so can be done easily)
And pantera isn't responding for couple of months
And just for your info, pantera is charging 1250k for 5kw ongrid system

I was able to find my installer via local community facebook group. After interviewing 4+ companies and physically inspecting sites, he was the clear winner. Not perfect but overall he's good.

Keep hunting / searching, you'll definitely find someone. Good luck

Edit : Be willing to give chances to fresh entrants / individuals not having huge companies - subject to them being competent and not fraudulent.

actually, there are some construction plans in between
so construction on 1st priority as raw material and labor costs are increasing day by day
later on solar on rooftop

Further, abt ur additional system, make sure it doesnt doesn't disturb ur existing system, on which KE has done survey.

Yes I am. Currently I have turned off the zero export functionality and being used as a smart meter. It mentions the household load and what's being exported to grid - pretty neat.

The hybrid setup will be attached to a separate meter / DB in order to not disturb the Huawei inverter. Primary reason to add the hybrid inverter was to provide support in times of power failure / minimise use of generator as much as possible.

Yes I got that. Actually i hv similar setup 7.560 kw plates with 10kw huawei 10ktl.

Facing the same issue during power outage, but using generator.

I didnt spend 40k on this zero export device, as it will become useless after net metering.

Sounds good. I probably recovered 30K out of the 40K cost in terms of bill savings while my net metering was in process. The smart meter has enabled me to get a good view as to how much power my appliances are consuming. Overall I really like it.

Guys, I'm planning on buying panels from warehouses advertising on olx. What should I look for to ensure the panels are genuine A grade ones?

Are you installing them yourself? I would unfortunately be very wary of sellers on olx

No, but want to source them myself. Nothing wrong with olx, as long as seller isn't shady i.e. Hall road guy etc. If he has a proper warehouse and documentation then what's wrong it? Most solar companies/installers don't import panels themselves either, they buy it from one of these importers with warehouses

Nepra instead of further incentivizing net metering benefit is planning to reduce by 20%. This is very bad news. Nepra has sought suggestions from citizens about it. I think we all should write to nepra that such ammendments are not tolerable and rather it should consider increase the price of per unit exported to provide some relief to net metering customers
