I haven't checked settings myself but solar installer told me that smart load will work with solar when grid is off. And when solar is also not available, it will continue to work if load on smart load is less than 1500 watts.

i have used the fronus matrix inverter, in the market it is considered as the copy of nitrox.. it has the screen for smart load, what i have understood after using it 2 months .. you can set the watts yourself for heavy load in the text editable field and it helps to turn off the heavy load at the particular level of the battery which you also set in the field.

I haven’t tested on inverter based fridge but my regular Dawlance fridge which is on the bigger side was using between 2-3 kWH per day a month ago. So about 90-100 units per month for the fridge alone. Not sure how much it’ll go up in hot weather.

write an email to K-Electric make an inquiry what are compliance points to apply for net-metering / non-compliance issue penalties. You will receive a check list of 3 pages, that can help you for understanding.

electric inspectors pay random visits to net-metering locations and check upon system configuration, any anomaly to / into system noticed KE will serve notice within 72 hours.

at the lowest cooling settings like no.4 settings on my siemens fridge ..it takes around 150watt all the time, not sure how much it takes total units per month

I have checked with KE and as per them, they haven't imposed any penalty to the customer. Can you share the details or any evidence?

Hey guys, what would be your recommended brand / model for a lithium battery for a 3 kW system? I might need to get a smaller 3kw system and I don’t wish to invest in old acid batteries anymore. Also what is the current price for such a lithium battery and if there will be compatibility issues if using any reliable brand 3kw inverter like SolarMax or inverex?

Are you able to get a 5 kw or 6kw inverter? I would recommend the Nitrox inverex 6kw 48V. You can opt for net metering later on if not in khi.

Narada and Pylontech are very good options but you need to ensure that BMS communication is possible between your chosen inverter / battery.

Id have to stretch my budget beyond a comfortable limit to get a 6kw inverter right now. Is it not possible to use the 48v lithium battery with a 3kw inverter ?

If there is no option left then I could get a 6kw inverter but it won’t be my 1st preference due to budget. Also does 6kw inverex comes with BMS support for the pylon tech battery? And compared to Narada which one is better ?

To the best of my knowledge 3kw systems are 24V and you'd have to pass off on net metering also.

The bms of inverex nitrox definitely communicates with the pylontech battery. All other setups you'd need to verify first.

I personally prefer pylontech but it is pricier compared to narada.

I purchased an inverter based Haier brand fridge this week and it claims 0.85kWH daily usage. I think its safe to assum even if we multiply that x2 or x3, it comes down to 90-100 Units monthly which is not bad.

according my previous experience ..dry batteries swell in summer extreme weathers

our Narada dry batteries haven't swelled at all, lasted 5 years so far.

i have used narada 3 times ... they didnt last longer and were swelled .. don't know why ..then i never bought them and shifted to wet and now tubler ones
