What's a reasonable quote for an elevated structure for 20 panels (90x45)?

with iron prices doing roller coaster it is really a million dollar question in April 2023 . in Sept 2021 24 panel structure costed approx. 235000.00 with rust proof enamel coating.

I recently paid 360000 for 20 panels structure (18,000 per panel). Gadar based structure with C Chanels and rust proof coating.

I thought the rate would be based on sqft or material used + labor. But people are quoting based on different factors, per watt (which doesn't make sense), per panel, or just a lump sump amount.

and I'm getting quotes from 200K - 400K - really crazy. Isn't it just cheaper to go with a L3 structure then, if one has roof-space?

upto 5kw, single phase inverters are allowed (in practice I've seen upto +-10kw)

Thinking of going with 6KW nitrox inverter with 7KW panels. Installer is saying he'll take care of net metering approval.

Now the question is would sending 7KW of power from panels to wapda (on a single phase) cause any issues with net metering calculations by the green meter? E.g. Solar sending 5KW to wapda on one phase and two 2 ton ACs consuming power on other two phases. Is it smart enough to handle that?

brother if you can guide me, i have 2 different structures (6-6) panels. do i need to earth these both with separate wire ? or i can share wire between these two structures and ground them as a 1 after combining them.

second question is there is a earthing bolt in inverter, that is necessary too ? how many pits you suggest and which ones ?

Use single wire for both...if they are on same roof/building.

yes its for grounding the inverter, earth it as well. Last I checked nepra requires 2 pits, one for AC system and other for DC (solar panels etc)

ye i was planning 2 as well, but i thought to ask as i have 2 different structures on the same roof. just for clarification,
DC will go from the body of structure and inverter ?
where will be ac from ?

1 pit for panel structure as DC earth
2nd pit for Inverter as (AC is generated by Inverter)

you can verify it from any professional integrator over a phone call for free.

1 DC pit for structures, panels, invert body, DC SPDs, Batteries (if lithium)
1 AC pit for inveter PE port and AC SPDs
1 pit for lightning arrester, if that not possible, then connect it with DC earth.

Please check this screenshot, i have wapda available, but my batteries are also being shared, when i wake up in morning these are down to like 46-47v. i have tried many options to disable this behavior but i am not able to achieve it. anyone has idea about it ? Fronus Matrix 2.0 is the inverter.

disabling time of use stops wapda usage and everything is taken from battery. right now its enabled.

there is No SUB mode in fronus matrix.

Disable time of use, if you have to use it, make sure to configure it correctly. Share short video of settings or screenshots atleast for battery and time of use settings.

i daily drain my solar batteries around 20% at evening during peak hours and charge them the next day via solar. i am using tublar osaka 180ah 4x batteries i hope their life span will not be reduced using them like this on daily bases, experts what do you say?

Here is the screenshot of the time of use setting, there support is so annoying, check this , uncheck this, but always same result. my batteries are being used almost always and they never stop charging too.....

you have to decide, which is cheaper, peak hour disco tariff or battery deterioration

How? it has been said batteries should be used on the regular bases otherwise their life span reduced if we dont use them at all? i just normally drain 15%-20% out of total 100% and in this way it can reduce the batteries life? really !!
