I have the same exact sonoff device for my electric geyser. Switches it on / off per my liking and monitors / logs the electric consumption also. Truly a life saver!

in my case, total power and voltages are accurate, but I don't know why amps are on higher side, like in the screenshot below, with total power 1410.71 watts and 226.01 volts, don't you think amps should be 6.24 rather than 7.22? Please check your device stats too and let me know

amps are on higher side considering power and volts
although that's not something to worry about because power stats are accurate (that's what matters at the end of day)

Got my SPD blown yesterday. There was a spike from grid side, many in my street got their appliances burnt. This is first such incident in last 2.5 years. Earthing saved the system. I'll highly recommend everyone to use proper protections for safety of your equipment.

No, no noise, only burning smell. SPDs can save from surges of even micro or milliseconds without consuming itself. It'll burn if surge is too high or prolonged. Better to install them separately in metal box with open or transparent front so one can see their condition. Never install in plastic box, its a fire hazard.

Guys I’ve a small project where budget is tight. Need a simple traditional ups 2Kva full sine wave. with two batteries. I wanted to go with a Solar inverter so panels came be added in future but they’re pretty expensive for this budget. 50-55k max budget for ups. What brand ups is reliable? I’ve seen homage brand in a few places, what other brand won’t die on me instantly ? At least for 3-4 years of service

99% options in 2kw range are simulated sinewave, no pure sinewave inverter is available in this range

That indeed seems to be the case. I ended up paying almost twice as much for a true sine wave Inverex veyron 1.2kW inverter.

Wish I could go with a 2.5kW unit but they were out of stock everywhere i checked

Can i please know if K-Electric adjusts units monthly or quarterly?
And if quarterly, does it take 3 months if net meter is installed in May or will the units be adjusted in June?

Quarterly. Units should be adjusted in June but do not know for sure, have a friend in a similar situation.
