by the time you get a grid export meter installed there will be serious revision of charges by NEPRA for country wide net metering benefits.

someone i know diverted and parallel installed a 6KW hybrid system in Nov 2022.
After sunset / during load shedding shifts to Hybrid unit (batteries during peak hour usage). his ongrid system (installed in Oct 2019 is producing 70% units for grid 30% units used during day) bring him significant benefits.

Are you sure thay have changed from 3 months to every mone? Billing cycle is of 3 months if your export is more than import. In any month if import is more than they conclude in that month. I'm taking about LESCO, any change in that?

Depends on your sanctioned load. Your home would be sanctioned a load and you can go maybe up by 2kw from the load. For example, most 10 marla houses are sanctioned 8-10kw of load by the power company, you can install upto 12.5-13 kw system to offset panel loses and net 10kw export. So check your sanctioned load on your bill or ask your bijli provider.

I think they have. A friend lives in dha air avenue and was wondering why his 3 months rule isn’t applicable on his current bill. I didnt know either So i guess this is true.

Things have changed since last month. They were doing quarterly adjustments but now they do it every month. Tax is added to what ever amount is left after adjustment. They pay Rs 19.32 for the extra off-peak units.

This is my July bill from LESCO. You can see they credited my account at Rs 19.32 for the 320 extra units that I exported. July is the first month of 3 month cycle (July, August and September). Other friends and family using LESCO got similar bills.

any ideas if a single phase inverter can export to a three phase connection?

i have 2x 3 phase meters at home. want to get one of the meters on netmetering/solar

Since you have 2 meters do the following:

Install an on-grid inverter (min 5kw) to qualify and apply for net metering on one meter.

Install a hybrid inverter on the other meter which technically will not export but will power your house during the day / during power failure.

Divide your solar panels amongst the ongrid and hybrid as necessary/ per load.

Otherwise get a 3phase nitrox 12kw hybrid which qualifies for net metering.

Play it safe so in case of a future audit / inspection, you would be totally legal / per spec.

i have an aerox 1.2kw installed without solar panels. it can take upto 700 watts solar

Million dollar question- have your solar installer source these if he's reliable. Massive fraud / counterfeiting in panels.

thats kind of the issue. the inverter i installed myself, purchased from inverex shop directly.

currently they are giving rates of 87/watt for canadian and inverex panels

Are they rebrand of some A grade panels and if so which company?

I guess at least they should be genuine if purchased from an official dealer.

Honestly have no idea on inverex solar panels. I have seen some youtubers use those but don't know anyone in my immediate circle who have used these.

My August bill is here. Again extra units have been converted to Rs and credited. There is good news for LESCO users that export has gone up by Rs 3 from 19 to 22.
