Then we returned back from Shinkiari to Mansehra (27KM) and Got our way to Balakot. When we reached Balakot, we saw that almost all the roofs were painted with blue colors (UNO) and almost all the city has been reconstructed. What we observed that the aid is only from 1 country and that is Turkey. Turkey has helped so much in this Earthquake that all the hospitals, schools and other buildings are donated by Turkey and the locals houses are built by UNO. Unfortunately, I could not take a snaps of that.

Kewai to Naran

The Real beauty of Kaghan Valley begins after the Naran. But when we pass Kewai the atmosphere is changed. We like and enjoy the cool air and there Lush Green mountains and peaks all around and greenery everywhere.

Finally Reached Naran

Unfortunately we forgot to get fuel from Balakot as there is no Petrol Pump in Naran and Kaaghan. So we searched there for fuel in Naran but we came to know from the local people that Petrol is rare in Naran and also available at a rate of Rs.80 per litre. But still there was no petrol at any shop after a lot of search we find a person who had it and he said that he will give it to us at Rs.80 per litre but after offering the prayer of magrib. So we waited there.

We reached in the evening, booked a room in hotel and then took sum rest as it was a long journey. During our rest it started raining. The weather suddnely changed and we were feeling cold, but we did not took any thing for cold weather wid us so there was nothing we could do. Still it was bearable. Then at about 10 we took our way to main shops in naran and did sum shopping also had dinner. 1 thing important to tell u all is that there is no electricity in Naran and all of the hotels use generators.

Next day we got up at about 9.am and after getting ready we decided to go for the Lulusar Lake and all other beauties on the way to it. So, I hire a jeep and then we started the journey. Here we begin the snaps from the next day morning..

1 thing important to tell u all is that there is no electricity in Naran and all of the hotels use generators.

If there is no electricity then why have they the electric poles (Khambe) and trasformers in the background? If my memory serve me correctly then the first time I went to Naran in 2002 , local people were saying that within an year there will be electricity in Naran. But 7 years have passed and still no electricity.....

BTW you have taken some really beautiful pics .....
