I have a W124 95 E200. I am looking for a couple of things:
1. Rear windscreen brake light. It fell and broke during a detailing job.
2. Infrared lock stopped working after battery in the remote was replaced. Can someone help?
3. Rear Bumper Mouldings (The rubber like part). Mine needs replacement.
4. A good tint preferably 3M.

only place i know which does 3m tint is @carigar near Dha gate.

Lock issue can be sorted out.
Bumper needs to be looked at before I can offer the replacement.
The workshop is on canal near ring road interchange.

this moulding is available. (needs to be ordered if desired)
your lock system probably has a broken wire. it needs time to sort out

Thanks. I got a quote for the crystal 3M paper from Carigar. It sure is a beauty and can reduce heat by about 10 degrees in the car. It is costly though at around 26K for W124. The black tint version is not as costly at around 18K but is no match for the crystal one if your aim is to prolong the life of your car's interior and save yourself from being cooked.

if people think its worth the price and people pay this much for the tints, i will be bringing them soon. less than this price and more than a year warranty

that rear molding for a later W124 is pretty pricey. Its a separate part from the actual bumper. Unless you have a spare one lying around.

For that 3rd brake light - the original part is common across the 201, 126 and 124 - it will have steps in it and it very common to break off as it gets cooked in the heat. The 210/202/140 part has a flush lens and is also pretty common to break off if you hit it hard during cleaning.

btw - your later w124 may have heat insulating glass already. If you dont have the build certificate then you can remove the fuel tank liner from the boot and see the sticker on it . it should have a set of 3 digit codes on it. The green tint heat insulating glass was 594 I think, It does a good job in winters.

IMO get the tints, you need to help the poor little A/C as much as you can specially in slow traffic.

I called it the ullu module. Sometimes I though that MB went cuckoo with the W140, in some of them the screws that hold the mirror assembly to the car are OUTSIDE.. I mean who let this pass. It takes 5 minutes for a thief to remove them cleanly. Dealerships here installed the new mirrors with cheesehead screws which require drilling to remove.

On the other hand the W140 are masterpieces in engineering. The eerie quietness of the cabin is legendary as you go over all sorts of ruts and bumps without feeling them.

the 210 one is a bit better.

the moulding is pricey and has been ordered separately for this car. will be getting it in a few days.

w140. simply the best car. i love it and prefer it over any newer model. will be selling both w140s soon with a heavy heart. they are difficult to drive in lahore's traffic.
planing on buying a w124 with 111 engine for a change now. lets see if it works out.

got a clk230 whose hood doesnt work. its turning out to be quite a challenge

About suzuki they most dont have top notch system, and honda dont have any honda oil to sell, its caltex one or some thing maybe
But toyota has it own maybe thats why its a fuzz

the W140 is best for highway runs - dont drive it in the city.. It comes alive when run on highways. btw the hood mechanism of the cabriolet have a special place of pain, My hat goes down for you on this.

No doubt. It has its own pleasures of driving on highways. I love it but only when I get some extra profit from something to spend on the fuel, lol.
I enjoy driving her within city. Turning or handling her is a piece of cake. The only issue is when I need to overtake someone and they provide me with the space for a normal car

CLK was tuned nicely. Took only a day and a half and the hood works like a charm. Car came from Mirpur for this
