The current vehicles are all CBU, though I'd expect the CKD Atto 3 to have similar quality, i.e. very middle of the road. There were a lot of hard plastics that visually looked like could've been more premium material but at this price point, it's not really realistic and I didn't expect that either since this is BYD's most economical line.
The Atto 3 still felt better than the current local offerings but for some reason, a lot of people at the show were expecting something more premium at this price point.
I couldn't tell if the Atto 3 had all the features of the similarly spec'd international models from my brief time with it, but it did seem so.
As for CKD pricing, it's very hard to say because it's still about 2 years away give or take and a lot can change in that timeframe. BYD has a reputation for aggressive price cuts every couple of years but I'm not sure if their local partners would be open to that.
In Thailand, Atto 3 saw about a 30% price cut across the entire line when it transitioned from CBU to CKD and it caused a stir there and consumers in Pakistan generally prefer their vehicles to get more expensive with time instead of becoming cheaper, so I'm not sure if they'd do price cuts here in Pakistan.
