@ghuncha Thanks bro, yes please do ask. There are 2 that I have seen so far. Both are maroon color. One is in Chaklala 3 and the other in G-11. The Chaklala one is a swap and the G11 is a stock. However there is a world of the difference between both. If your source is different from these ones, please let me know. Thanks!

Guys no doubt 1 UZ is has a better kick than a 5vz.
I was at Hajji Zaman's place and we were trying to negotiate a deal with him but he was fixated on his price. He has a white 2002 single cab standing there with the 2.8cc stock engine. I asked him about swapping the single cab to a double cab to which he gave the idea of swapping the engine also. When we started checking out the blocks he had, 2 options stood out to us. 1 was the 5vz, the conservative option. The other one was the mighty 1GR engine (Tacoma engine) which would give anyone a rise
So to sum it all up, in the end Hajji offered a price of Rs.140,000 for the 5vz with tranny and an astounding 450,000 for the 1GR. Mind u this is without the price of the double cab (unregistered) for which he wanted 12.5 lakhs. I weighed the pros and cons and decided that I'm better off looking for a clean 80 Series with 1fz set up.
Although one can imagine what a 2002 Hilux would feel like with a 1GR....

12.5 is too much... i earlier stumbled across a 94 for 6.5 but it was rotten... missed out on a bargain 2nd gen surf (pre-95) same drivetrain upfront as the lux for 4.5 :(... surf has shorter wheelbase at 109" vs the lux' 112" so my preference is the lux... easier to shed weight on a lux too...anyway money is a major object this time around as this baby is essentially a toy and i cant afford to splurge on toys that rollover in the desert anymore

600K with 2L engine,

Used the 2L used for my generator. Guess 2L is for around 165K, so it is correct that I got this Kaikra for 435K

how much does a double cabin cost waisay? a good clean piece preferable karachi registered.. manufacturing year not important if parts are available and condition is very good.

qwerty, this would be a mid engine rwd buggy... search rage buggy on youtube etc... these are usually bike engined, ariel atom like vehicles with longer wheel travel for dirt/ sand use...
