More like a power slide. powerslide is also a form of drift. losing rear wheels traction and keeping control of car via steering.
sometimes front brakes on foot padel are used and rear wheel brakes are on handbrake only by disconnecting foot brake from rearhwheels. not legal for street use, strictly for circuit practise only .
rear wheel damping and springs matter a lot. Vigo on standard springs meant for offroad use have too much suspension travel. will make vigo or LC prado roll sideways. plus they are too heavy.
drift cars are lowered to ground for safty. it is very important and stiff suspension for less roll. roll is sideways movement when you lift up car from one side
