Dhand Gagri (natural lake;jheel)

location : 17 km on ghari ikhtiyar khan road,, sign is ; EUCALYPTUS TREE (safedaa) on road, turn rite from there..that leads to lake..

Mohsin bhai is ka b source nhi pta lgta,,, r mazay ki bat is k pass glaciers b nhi hain....:DDD:D::D:D hahahaha

Okay brother, my favourite lake which i visited recently is rush lake. Highest known lake of Pakistan(altitude wise).
It is located in nagar valley.
Iss tak pohunchnay k 3 rastay hain.
1 hopar valley.
2 hisper valley
3 nagar khass ( a small village near hunza valley)
It is a complete 3 day trek.(agar speed se chala jaye toh)
Agar slowly jana ho to 4 days are required to reach this lake.
Hum ne nagar khass wala way choose kiya because yeh rasta comparatively easy hai baaki dono raston se.
Hopar se agar jatay hain toh 2 glaciers cross karnay partay hain barpoo aur hopar glacier. Garmiyon mein glaciers pighaltay hain thats why wahan bohat kecchar ho jata hai so wahan se jana nahi chahye.
Aur secondly iss rastay mein sudden steepness aa jati hai jo k first timers k liay kaafi mushkil ho gi.
Nagar khass se jatay huay aapka trek yahan se start hota hai

Aur iss k rastay mein 2 main camping sites hain jahan water available hota hai. Agar aapke paas water ho toh phir aap kahin bhi camp kar saktay hain.

Katora lake is not in kumrat valley it is on the boundary of kalam and upper dir.

kumraat valley starts from thal village in upper dir. both are opposite to each other, yes, to reach both kumraat or katora lake, you must have to reach thal village which is approx 6 to 8 hours ride from upper dir bus station. if you want to visit katora lake, ride up to right side for the village of jandri, and for kumraat valley u must go left side if comming from upper dir.

thal is also accessible via jeep from utror (kalam)
from katora lake you can reach utror crossing dir gali in 2 days trek.

This is KATORA LAKE also known as JAZZ DHAND.

Location is Kumrat valley of Upper Dir.

Fro upper dir, you have to go to Jandrai Village, 4-5 hours drive.

Then 5-6 hours track to Jaz Banda.

A further 2.5 to 3 hours to the lake.
