Intercooler won't itself increase power. What it does is that it reduces exhaust gas temperatures so boost can be raised safely without Bending the rods

saad only adding an intercooler will increase power becoz it gives u lower INTAKE air temps .cooler air going in means more power.a top mount 1kz setup is useless imo becoz it heat soaks very quickly although a fmic would help a lot.maybe 20+hp is easily achievable and more if boost is raised .
also imo the exhaust location is wrong becoz it will make the exhaust gases circulate over the car and will be putting exhaust fumes back into the car.a rear exiting but 3inch exhaust would be better.

I agree with you Baqir Bhai. Cool air means more power but practically due to 1kzs very sluggish architecture, he might feel a slight increase and a slight lag aswell, until the boost is raised and then the ic will make much more sense. But I guess he may have raised the boost uptil now and I do hope he is monitoring the engine through egt otherwise it's way too easy to crack the head. I agree on the exhaust setup.

Well I Told Sultan Shah To Make It Rear As Its Logical For Fumes But He Said Dont Have More Pipes in 3"
So We Put Short One For Some Time ...

a friend of mine had a surf.we boosted it up and it ran fine for 2 years with its top mount running daily on 10 psi and every other day on 1 to 1.2 bar boost.never had a problem.and it was fast enough for the size.

The Front Direct Exhaust Outlet Tips Were Removed & Linked With "Borla Mufflers" On Both Side ..
Then Shifted The Twin Exhaust Outlets To Rear End So That Fumes Cant Roll Over & Jump Inside The Cabin

Raw Sound Got Improved To Groovy ...
