Announcement( as i have closed my "What's New east of the border" thread)

"My own Blog"

I'm setting up a blog to continue with my crappy photos of the Indian car scene as i view it from Chennai and occasionally, other Indian cities i visit. This is due to the overwhelming requests from people from all over the world who have been visiting PW to check out my thread.lolzzz I'm quite dumbstruck by it all and have even been offered help in setting up my blog too. I haven't decided on the blog name yet and once i do set it up i will notify Mods at PW if ok to post the link to my blog in this site for the PW members who have visited my thread regularly and i appreciate their contribution.

The categories i will cover, with pics taken this weekend to illustrate are,

New car dispays(dealerships and malls/public spaces etc.) and launches

New Car Showcase and Reviews

Spottings(of all kinds of cars and street scenes in India)

That's it. I'm keeping it simple like everything should be.

That's a great idea! Your own blog would be perfect for your crappy photos :P, not that Pakwheels isn't. Your thread will be missed by a lot of us.

It'd be great if you could pop-in every once in a while with exciting threads such as this one.

re: blog, i'm almost 'there' and been playing with the layout. Meanwhile, i've been gathering pics of cars too , like the new Volvo S60 etc. , which i fell in love with at first sight. The Audi R-Drive is set for this weekend so i'm purring already and it ain't Friday yet.

I espied this car last week parked by a tea stall and the driver was nowhere in sight nor did the public swarm all over it like we do. We car enthusiasts ain't 'public' i guess:D. And i wish i could have clicked the bemused look on the bystander's faces as i pulled over and took pics.
