Watched "Cast Away" yesterday starring the legendary Tom Hanks:

I didn't find the plot entirely convincing, though. I still think 127 Hours (That received six Oscar nominations) is a vastly better movie (Plot and realism wise) but...

Tom Hanks' performance pretty much filled most plot holes. The guy is called 'Hollywood's living legend' for a reason!

Amir Khan had gone on a diet of banana and milk to play the role of a skinny teenager in 3 Idiots. For the film Dangal (I have not watched this movie), he had lost 25 kg (55 pounds).

IMO, Amir Khan is one of the only actors apart from Amithab Bachan whose movies can compare with Hollywood movies in terms of realism and quality. The rest are crap third grade actors.

Well explained & true I watched 8 episodes of new Indian first ever netflix series Sacred Games casting nawazuddin siddique & Saif Ali khan, Pakistan is again culprit there & Elnaaz nourozi playing a role of model girl who performs item songs & full into indian lifestyle religion wise & also she do sometimes dirty job on that series for money/power fame & she is also represented as Pakistani in origin shes from Iran.
plus there is sooo much show off that RAW is kinda on edge that there are indian RAW AGENTS Working & living IN Balochistan & also bombing in bombay during 1970-80 was again on Pakistanis or muslims vice versa.
but yeah some movies do come as good movies even in sanju ,sanjay dutt use to help muslims & it was shown he was receiving threats for that but still with some few positivness about PAK comes mostly propoganda through indian movies or news.

i watched Johnny English Strikes Again last weekend.I liked it, i like the quaint British humor and stale slapstick. The only cable tv channel i watch the most is BBC Entertainment. lol

Christian Bale wasn't even asked by director Brad Anderson of "The Machinist" to drop to 122 pounds for the film. He told the BBC he wanted to do it all on his own.

Bale's daily diet consisted of consuming vitamins, running, and eating an apple and can of tuna a day. He then gained nearly 100 pounds, getting back up to 220 pounds in about five months to play the Caped Crusader in "Batman Begins."

War of the worlds (2005):

Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tom Cruise! Two big names!

I first watched it way back in 2007 on HBO; during my metric exams . I was supposed to study but... The moment I started watching it, I was hooked!

The plot is gripping from the beginning, the acting is incredible and there are quite a few scenes which are downright terrifying (Trust me on this one!) but... Somehow, Steven Spielberg ran out of ideas at the end.

The movie's momentum dropped like a rock at the end and it was one of the most rushed endings I've seen in a blockbuster movie.

I don't want to spoil the plot for you; so that's all I'm going to say!

8/10.
