There are, of course, a few exceptions but...
Most Indian movies follow this pattern:
The first 45 minutes or so consist of hero and heroin meeting eye to eye and INSTANTLY falling in love, after falling in love they dance together over a song (Cheap and cheesy!), then the villain butts in and the plot focuses on his 'bad deeds' for about an hour or so, then hero steps in and challenges the villain and his acquaintances, the villain then takes revenge on the poor (albeit smoking hot) heroin, then come some emotional scenes where the hero is motivated by his parents or peers to step in and take control after which he gives a motivational speech about how death doesn't matter and how he'd die as a martyr just so the heroin could see another day (So cute
) with a dramatic music in the background, then the climax of the movie begins in which he proceeds to take a stand against the tyranny of the villain and ultimately kills (Or at least defeats) him, saves the day and gets the girl and then...
Well, they dance together AGAIN, what else?!
A happy ending!
And there you have it; the plot of over 90% of Indian movies (And 99.99% Pakistani Movies!) explained in one paragraph! They ALL follow the same pattern, let it be the so called legendary "Sholay", "Mohebatain", "Koylay", "RA One" or any desi, ultra-traditional "XYZ Gujjar" movie!
Oh well...
