I purchased a korean copy from KHi of Galaxy s3
It was a very exact clone of s3, even underside of battery says , GT i9300, camera result was awesome but only issue was tht wifi was very weak and it does not work all if we use viber tango or skype i dunno why. Secondly it had mediatek software which clearly tells that its a clone.

Im buying a clone from a fellow PW member of s4 that seems good to me.

clone are always non genuine phones,so buy original korean phone if you are interested in korean variant of samsung,lg mobile phones.. emenent is wise person to start such types of thread. from what i get experience while analyzing these korean phones is that they have high specs as compared to their variant .so you must take a guess by loOoking at internal memory size which i guess ppl label it as rom size.. anyhow i must tell you something that there are some korean handsets out there in the market which are stuck with unknown baseband and unknown imei. so you must be aware of this situation under consideration before you freak out with no signals ,no sim network issues. so better to insert sim in these phones and make a call and factory reset too before purchasing.

The phone stuck in unknown baseband of NULL imei is the pangas which software guys do with little knowledge. So it is advised , please make sure that everything works before paying the cash for korean phones

Secondly korean phones has almost same or better specs than international counterpart, off course with few limitations like 80 character SMS , call to korea waghaira. But they are true value for money.

I think these phone will reduce the sale of lower /budget models as people can get these ducal core phones under 20k. The phone kits are only imported

Let me give you a brief idea of pricing, the pricing varies with condition and person selling (approximate pricing) e.g.

LG LU6200 = LG P930 or LG Nitro HD = 720p screen, dual core 1.5 ghz processor = Price of original was 30+ = Price of Korean =17-20K Depending on the condition.

LG Optimus 3d = Orgional LG P20 = cost around 30 , korean su760 cost aroung 15-17k.
LG Optimus 2x= Oriognal LG P990 = cost aroung 25 = korean su660 cost around 12-15

There are huge number of phone some with 2gb ram and krait dual core 1.5 chips also, works well as android is customization no issue except seeing antenna which is of no use in Pakistan .

What do you people think about these new imports (. Korean people are saying that now we have more Korean phones in Pakistan than actually in Korea

ASSLAM o ALAIKUM friends , i saw this thread and like to share my experience also,
for last 1 year i am using Pantech sky vega phones
* sky vega racer 2 white colour with 16gb and used for almost 6 months and sold that in dubai to one interested friend, with no problem nothing wrong and also i myself installed custom rom of s4 in that
* sky vega racer 3 known as 850 bought 8 months ago in black in mint condition and guess what it is also sold to one of my friend in dubai who is now in india for vacations and i also imported 2 more phones ie: 850 white and black for my friends as they were very interested.

and know i have no phone but will get the latest note 3 killer , pantech sky vega secret note 890 which is best to me as it is more powerfull from note 3. but i am thinking of importing this phone directly from korea.i will share pics when i will get that.

my experience with sky is very good i love this company ,i read one post few months back that people in korea prefer pantach over samsung and Lg. iam not saying that these companies are not good but just sharing my experience .

Big problem seems to be customised android software which allows only local calls or calls between Korea & the other country. I am Thailand and want to call home in Pakistan but in vain. Software has two options either to call local or Korean number. If anybody knows how to fix ot plz come come forward. Thanks

if u never done that i recommend to go to some shop and let them do it. it is not that hard if u search on google and see the steps.

here in Pak u can get it done in 500rs.

well interesting topic thought i should share my experience, I got one from OLX its LG Note1 f100, 32GB space 1 GB RAM 5'' display
i got it for 13k about year ago but friends believe me its a wonderful phone great battery timings i removed all its built-in Korean apps only issue is sms limited character but its easy to write full length sms with GO Sms apps

I went to the market most shops were selling i9505 claiming to be brand new were used had fake boxes and acceseries even batteries and back covers were fake and were selling for 40k. In a while I found a korean e470s s4 active original factory sealed snapdragon 800 cpu with 32gb and best of all genuine factory sealed box. I bought for 35. Now I need to find a international rom to flash it which I cant seem to find specs are same as the s4 active except the upgraded cpu. Even has no extra tv antena. Can someone find me a rom for it.

i have LG Gx F310L which u know is pure korean set with no international counterparts ........ i tried number of ways given on the internet to configure GPRS for the phone but wasnt lucky enough kindly show me the proper way to configure GPRS for the phone (Network Telenor)
