The new Suzuki Vitara

So with 59660 km on the odometer, i started getting a slight grinding noise from the rear when I used to accelerate the car from any speed breaker. This phenomenon was only happening at the time of accelerating from just a startup speed. I did not notice any noise once the vehicle had accelerated.

Took the Vitara to the dealer and asked them to check everything.

It turned out some bolts were loose. They tightened them and I asked them to do a compete wash.

So far have been driving the vehicle for the last five days without any issue.

I own a 2014 Toyota fielder hybrid wxb for 2 n a half years and 70k km+. Alhumdolillah had a great experience. Me along with family had travelled almost everywhere in Pakistan (we are travellers). Had a complete Balochistan tour back in January 2020. I must say an excellent value for money vehicle. I'm looking for a change of taste and further expand the range of activities with Abit of off-road capability and reliability as I'll be planning deosai soon. I think Vitara (2017-18) is going to be a good option to quench my travelling thirst + it is a well equipped vehicle as far as options are concerned in the price range. Need expert opinion on vitaras off-road capability specially keeping in mind skardu and deosai tracks. Thanks.

Gentlemen please advise if battery installed in vitara ( Make: VARTA 36Ah) available in pakistan. If not then which battery model locally available i can install in vitara without modification.
I have attached original pic of battery which is installed in vitara.

It is available in Pakistan but around 1.5 year ago my vitara’s battery died and at that time Varta wasn’t available so I got Hankook battery and it’s going good at the moment. It costed me 15500 from Suzuki.

Bro, this battery is almost 25000 from suzuki on backorder. The mechanics at Suzuki showrooms recommend to just get a daewoo dry battery (costs just 4500) i think its 12V 60 Ah, not sure. But it will be absolutely fine. Theres no point of spending 25,000 when both will last only 1.5 years.

Im going to install Eibach Pro Lift Off road springs kit, along with Eibach Pro Spacers (30mm each), and install larger 225/65/r17 soon. I shall let you know . Doing this for a mini rally build / off road build to easily tackle all terrains including northern areas

Only need to install that universal bracket on the top that has two rods going on either side to secure it to bottom base, and maybe might need small cut in bottom base, otherwise no issue it will install and wont move.

New tyres

Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tyres in 225/65/R17.
The tyres give the car further a 2 inch lift over the suspension 1 inch lift, due to being bigger diameter than stock tyres which are 215/55/R17.

No rubbing issues. (Slight rubbing was there on full lock with the inner fenders on front wheels, just pushed the fenders forward and screwed them in again an inch forward. Back wheels no issues)
