In Pakistan, Suzuki has become brand for people who can't afford Toyota/Honda. Based on that premise, Vitara will never be successful in Pakistan. The resale will be bad because of very low demand.

My relatives owns popular Suzuki Authorized dealership for over 20 years. In those years they have never personally owned a single Suzuki. Its always Toyota or Honda, tells a lot about reputation of Suzuki.

Can anyone give me some idea about the current price of a Vitara? Not talking about the invoice price but the one that dealers are offering. I have been told that one can even get for 3m? Is it true?? It just launched last year for 3.5 - 3.8m right??

There is no such thing .if somebody is offering it is a scam . It is not Europe or America where car prices can be negotiated with dealer

its POSSIBLE that dealers sell for lesser price to clear off their inventories. e.g if a dealer is given 25% profit by manufacturer, he can easily let go 10% to earn 15% and increase his sales. it has been done in past too alot of times in Pakistan

Your info is absolutely right. I have not heard from someone else but negotiated with dealers myself. One dealer on Jail road, Lahore was selling black GLX for Rs3.2 million. Silk bank in Karachi had 10-20 GLX (I believe they still have some units) and they were asking 3million full and final, they supplied some vehicles to motorway police at the same price, however I gave them my final offer of 2.8million, initially i thought that they will sell me at this price (the way they were negotiating) but later their higher management refused. This all happened before Bakra Eid, after their refusal I canceled my idea of purchasing Vitara. I think Vitara GLX even in 3million is value for money.
The reason that I bid 2.8million was the interior. I really don't like the interior of Vitara.
