Dear Friends,

I am confused between Vezel & Vitara.

Vezel is my 1st choice, however I am put off by lack of after sales service and parts. Vezel owners encounter many problems pertaining to the gear box. Not only its expensive to rectify, but you have to go to Mistri and have it fiddled.

I feel the suzuki network has a definite edge over it.

As regards to the price, I have been quoted by Sethi Motors 3S dealership in Lahore GLX @ 34 MRs & GL+ @ 30.

If you have some contacts in Karachi you can get GLX for 29, Vitara is better than Vezel.

I was also confused between vezel and vitara. Heard about its gear box issues as well which cost 2.5 lacs to replace and then the jerk from electric motor to petrol engine is very annoying. Couldnt find a clean vezel so went for vitara in the end and im glad that i did. First of all its a brand new car and a proper 4 wheel drive suv unlike vezel which is only 2wd. Many may find vitara’s interior boring and its no match for vezel’s interior but for me its a great place to be. In the end get the one u like.

The only question I have for Vitara is; Are Suzuki service centers equipped enough and do their mechanics have enough expertise to diagnose problems that may arise in Vitara? It is very high end compared to other local Suzuki cars.

I havnt even taken my car for 1000kms checkup and Only time will tell till then i can only hope that they are.

Have visited the dealership three times...1000, 5000 & 10,000 km services. So far I find them to be working fine. Only time will tell if/when faced with any problem whether local dealerships have been given ample training.

Kindly guide me about the token tax fee.I would like to buy Vitara but there is a huge confusion in the market. I met with some dealers who are giving 7 lack discount. But 3s dealership are denying. A new car which just released...7 lack drop in market? Why is that? In lahore, Jail Road, Johar town and etc... you can easily find discounted price. I am also wondering about the parts and service. Has any one face any problem? What about its maintenance cost? Good wishes and please take care...

Hopefully all will go well as Vitara is a simple machine. Internationally this model is being evaluated as a tough and low maintenance vehicle.

I presume that Suzuki being a Japanese company must have had conducted training workshops for supervisors.
