Something confusing happening here..
Checked vitara's on road price on Pakwheels app and surprisingly WHT and registration fee is showing less amount than told by mr. TypeR earlier in this same thread.
Pakwheels shows WHT is Rs.50000 filer and registration fee is Rs. 75800.

Mr. TypeR told earlier that registration fee is 1lac filer.

Anyone??

There is no WHT on Vitara as it is imported and all taxes are already paid. Got my Vitara registered today from Islamabad and it cost me 95k plus 15k agent fee plus 40k for special number.

May be its showing punjab registration (lahore)

Another thing.. i saw some new and slightly used vitaras for sale on pakwheels. Why are people selling this vehicle after driving it for 3 to 8000 kms only?

Most of the information on pakwheels is either wrong or outdated. I gave u the exact figures for registration from islamabad.
As for ur question to why ppl are selling it. There are many possibilities like dealers , upgrading , didnt like it , need money , etc

As i said earlier no WHT and no luxury tax as all taxes already paid by suzuki. Even in registration documents it's considered as local car.

I just called excise office lahore. They are claiming that luxury tax does apply on vitara because its imported which is 1.5lacs. They told me that total expenditure would be around 2.80lacs..
