I hold on to door . when i turn or break . And i drive very slow .
I am driving this daily Because i don't leave my car at workshop . Bring it home daily .

You can always come back to the cosmetics when the car is running strong mechanically. There are more important things ..like brakes e.g. that you should concentrate on. Then there is the engine, the suspension, the electrics....

1.The weak pieces of floor were repaired last weekend
2. Car got carpet and seats
3. Engine was cleaned and refitted to check the condition

Congratulations! I was interested in this a while ago, but never got around to seeing it - seller was proving elusive to contact for some reason. Looks like a great project, and from what I can see of the floors and rear luggage area it's not too bad, certainly doable. Personally, my favourite colour combos for bugs from this period are turkis blue with blue/white interior, and beryl green with green/white. Good luck!

i am guessing this is got to be a proper patina project
