Thank you for your comments and suggestions.. Here are the answers to your questions.
What engine do you have in it ?
Its a Toyota B2 Diesel.
Isn't the intake hole a bit small ?
Doesn't that fabricated intake restrict air flow, as the concept behind an intake is to have an open air flow with smooth (rounded) bends.
I dont remember the exact dimention of the hole there but I made sure that the narrowest part of the whole air intake system with the snorkel on would be the actual intake on the engine. The cross sectional area of the snorkel itself is nearly 1.5 times that part so it would not restrict the air inflow significantly (the bends are as rounded or obtuse as would be on any aftermarket snorkel).
That being said, this was the first prototype and there are a lot of flaws in the looks and in the design also. I will be improving on this in time and make a new one when I get the time.
Suggest you have a 3'' pipe fabricated to give a more macho look
Thank you sir for the suggestion. I will keep that in mind for the next piece that we make.
I appreciate the input and would welcome any more suggestions / critique.
Thank you
