I have owned and driven many english and german classic bikes. My present collection includes a Matchy (Matchless G3LS 1952), Matchless G2 1959, Triumph TRW 1951 and a BSA B31 ( a big thanks to "Deadly" who helped me acquire some of these bikes). Will post pictures soon as I find some time.

Needless to mention your collection is awesome!

This cant be a Triumph. More likely Ariel Red Hunter 1955 model. In fact several other Ariel bikes from that era had the same frame so it could be any of them. 110% Ariel not Triumph.

That aside, what an amazing collection !

As for spotting these minor differences you need to be owning and restoring these bikes . It so happens that I too have a 1955 Red Hunter in my collection albeit with a slightly different headlamp assy. The later (upto 1957-58) had the nacelle headlamp. In fact by then it was more of a mix and match production runs so it was quite normal to have cross platform fittings.
