The Ssangyong Rodius has been awarded the presumably unwanted prize of Britain's ugliest car, although if the pollsters had ventured further afield they would no doubt have discovered that it is actually the universe's ugliest car.
For those who have not had the pleasure, it closely echoes the curving family friendly shape of so many MPVs, but at the last moment the designers obviously had a change of heart and welded a bizarre protruding box shape on the back.
The Rodius achieved 29 per cent of the vote for most ugly vehicle, substantially beating the flat out weird Fiat Multipla. A controversial vehicle this, with the vast majority of right thinking people condemning it and yet drawing a small and very vocal group of supporters.
Jay Z, and the other handful of new money billionaires out there who bought a Mercedes Maybach have been finally proved to possess more money than taste. The £250,000 Maybach took third spot.
"Naturally, the results are very subjective. For example, everyone always notes the Multipla, but its design quirks continue to be a major appeal for many observers and buyers alike. One man’s ugliness is another man’s beauty," said Cardata spokesman, Andrew Sobell.
