Tips for Baleno

It's mileage used to be around 310 kms in 25 liters of gasoline. It was right after the engine rebuilt. However I lost this mileage after the tune up. Well..... I attribute it to ignorant mechanics and their lack of interest in old cars.

My car's fuel pump making humming sound continuesly, anything serious?

This weekend took my car to mechanic for pickup problem, when he inspected oil seals were worn out n oil was leaking.. In same process he noticed there were 2 head gaskets sandwiched instead of one... He told me that dual gaskets incersase distance between piston n valve thus lower compression value n low pick up. Car is with mechanic for resolution of this issue.. Then i will get compression test done.

To mechanic which I go he showed me one baleno and took me to a test drive, its was a 2004 baleno and was very well maintained in sense of engine. Han body was not that good but was acceptable.

The pipe on my fuel pump came off on its own the other day and I lost about a litre of petrol in the whole process and it was a pain in the ass. I think your and my problem both may be related to the fuel filter in a way. It has to be changed after a while and I've rarely anyone in Pakistan getting it changed on time unless the fuel pump gives up.

It's bad mileage, very bad. I get 170 km on 1000rs petrol without ac and around 160 with ac very easily. My driving is quite jangli too at times but most times it's light foot. A big difference in the performance and mileage of my car came when I took off the cng system (the air choke system on the throttle body) so you could try doing that but you'll have to let cng go.

A question to the experts here

Will changing to liqui moly 10w30 from havoline 10w30 have any noticeable difference in performance and fuel economy of the car? My car has 80k on the odi, is it time to move to something like 10w40?

Will taking out the cng cylinder have any noticeable difference on the fuel economy performance?

Yaar bohat problems hain gari ac mai bohat heat hoti hai or band hojati hai check engine ki light continue jal rai hai or kuch wiring kai bi issues hain
