Tips for Baleno

Hi Everyone,

I am going to buy Suzuki Baleno 2004-2006 in a few days. This thread is very long but what I have read so far suggests that Suzuki Baleno has a common problem of misfiring/backfiring. This is not a big problem as I know how to fix it. Is there any other common problem in Baleno?

Can you guys please tell me what would be the good fuel consumption per liter on petrol? Is 13-14 kmpl achievable?

AoA friends. Can some one please suggest good computerised tuning center for baleno in RWP/Isb. I am getting a bit low milage since last month. Previously it was 13-14 km/l but now its dropped to 11 km/l with AC. Already got the car tunned by a local mechanic who cleaned throttle body and did tappet adjustment but no significant improvement in fuel economy. Odometer is 55k and m using shell HX6 10w40 engine oil.

ok guys...my car is running on factory fitted fuel pump...never opened...it had been hesitating on pick up....had my suspicion on pump...but went for pressure check....found 70 bars after fuel filter...seems okay....checked injectors....seems clogged...cud not find ultrasonic cleaner nearby....used desi method...applying pressure thru carb cleaner and pulsing injectors one by one...worked out pretty nicely....car is back to life Alhamdolillah...

so never listen to ustaads etc....follow ur own instinct and have faith in Allah....

secret behind long life of fuel pump: always keep tank half full...never add any octane booster or injector cleaner in pump...

story behind injector clogging.....car is parked most of times....sometimes months in a stretch...so better keep it running regularly...

hell of a tough car...Alhamdolillah...never breaks down...
