following issue arose all of a sudden while driving on petrol:

check light comes up all the timerpm is very very unstable/rough - car gives zabardast jerks/ jhatka while drivingblack smoke coming out and on revving the smoke increases

i did following myself:cleaned TB and IAC and all is goodtried cleaning sensors TP/air flow/cam negative battery terminal reset 'theory' also applied

but issue remains same as mentioned above.need suggestions/guidelines. 2004 jxr ff cng model 155k done.

the issue resolved today when i visited one mechanic. he installed a new map sensor and issue vanished as it never existed. he charged full 2k for sensor and labor - seems too much - but the issue resolved is a big YES

@xenerking i checked the cng switch too but it was fine. but it is always so nice that you respond promptly

all of a sudden the ac blower have died - nothing comes out of vents although AC compressor do turn ON. what fuse should i check?

Check fuse in fuse box installed at right side kick panel under the steering, if it is ok then check blower fan relay which is installed just behind the glove box.

check the connector of the blower, also try slapping the blower to see if it works

small 4 point relay under the glove box dies usually, compressor turning on means fuse might be ok

sab se pehly mene oil pump ka in/out pressure check krwaya, car ka computor check krwaya , ye 2no cheezen clear thin

mene phir toyota ki side wali current coil le kr aya bilal gunj se 2500 ki + wires laya .... Lahore chuburgi m IQBAL PEYARA eletriction k bhai AJMAL electricion ne wiring ki sari + mene mechanic se JANN + coils ki seals change krwai jinki wajha se oil aa rha tha... now Alhumdulillah today m car is clear and running smoothly

So after 3K kms I got the compression test done from Osama and it is above 190psi. Oil I used was 5W30 shell helix to be changed after 5K kms. And I am absolutely enjoying the ride nowadays alhamdolillah.

my car remains parked most of the time and it occurred all of a sudden after heavy rain fall in karachi (2-3 times). car was not even starting and i have to go beneath it to fiddle with the crank sensor after which it started in first go - this normally happens with my car in wet conditions - i really dont know why. at the same moment the blower didnt turn ON

with age the water insulation and rubber seals to prevent water ingress weakens, so need to check and redo water insulation of all vital sensors...

humidity can all reach the sensitive components inside cabin, might only need some cleaning and moisture removal

Happened to me almost exactly one year ago. Turns out the blower had went completely kaput and I ended up replacing it

how can insulation of sensors possible? i cannot get the point. so in short my car is very sensitive to wet conditions

stop the water getting into the grip attached to sensor....

the wires going to grip pass thru rubber seals which get hardened over time and fail to stop water getting into grip...
inside the grip there is another rubber seal usually orange colored, which also looses it efficacy, also if there are any joints in wire, that might also attract some trouble...
try to renew that so that water is prevented going into grips and sensor...

please guide on below issue as the plastic cover is lost and this looks aweful in interior (front passenger side). kya solution?
